Got to know our needs and set him up with a great selection to choose from, answered all the questions and was patient with our requests. Now, my son has 2 very different size feet because of a disability, he didn't judge his disability or his 2 different size feet?, and made sure he was comfortable in the shoes. We couldn't have asked for better service. And the VIP perks make it worth every purchase. Thanks for making our customer experience great!!”

“I hesitated going to a family owned store versus a big box for a quality tennis racket and tennis shoes, but that was what my son wanted. When we got there, we were greeted and the staff helped my son not only pick a quality racket, but they strung it right there. It only took 20 minutes and I found a great pair of tennis shoes. I bought him a cheap tennis racket from a big box and it affected his playing. Ths new racket definitely helps him play better and fantastic power. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE for all your tennis needs because that's all they do. They were actually about $20 cheaper than the big box with excellent customer service. Thank you”

“It seems this place has some poor reviews from people who had a bad experience online, but by going in the store I had the complete opposite experience. My visit was short, considering I knew I wanted an as authentic as it gets Bedard sweater. The person who helped me was knowledgeable and passionate about the product. They claim that they send the sweaters directly to the official Blackhawks stitching company as well, something you won't find with fanatics or other brands. In fact, the only other site I found that offers that takes 5-6 weeks to ship out. I won't be going anywhere else when I'm in the market for some more gear!”

“They are great here, maybe too great! I will explain: I haven't bowled in many years and decided to do it again with my wife. I was a customer over 20 years ago... After getting fitted last week, she was frustrated yesterday with 6 gutters in a row! She swore the ball was too heavy. After meeting with Lynn, he assured her the ball was not too heavy, all she needed was a wrist brace. Luckily I had filmed a few of her frames and showed them to Lynn. He slowed down the video and took time to analyze what she was doing wrong. He took 10 minutes to show her and gave some tips. Bottom line...she ended up beating me! Lol! Great Customer Service!”

Once we got back to Canada, I called to see if there was any way we could have some shipped. The staff kept keeping me posted as to ways to have them sent to Canada. I received many calls from Yorktown. They got a hold of Lucy, at their warehouse, and she quickly set me up with the way to have them shipped to Canada. I bought a long, down, duster coat a couple of weeks ago, and Jacks took the time to place the order over the phone for me, since my size was not in stock. She even made sure that I received the additional discount that I had earned as a rewards member. The coat arrived, and I wasn’t sure if I liked the fit, so I brought it into the store today. Jacks gave me her honest opinion, that it was too bulky on me, and then she suggested a different cost style and had me try it on. The coat she suggested fit beautifully, and I bought it on the spot. Be sure to ask Jacks for help because she knows the products inside and out, and truly has your best interest at heart!”
