“I had an extraordinary experience in customer service excellence because of a clerk #13 by the name of Sharon‼️ I came in literally right before closing and she was very busy working however, greeted me with professionalism, care, friendliness and patience as she helped me with my package and it was basically near closing time! Sharon stopped what she was doing to assist me and I saw her also multitasking greeting others with the same grace at the “9th hour,” if you will‼️ She anticipated my needs and exceeded my expectations in a matter of minutes‼️

“Went here yesterday for passport services and came away pleasantly surprised. First off, the building itself is pretty cool—nice bonus. The staff were genuinely helpful from the start. They walked us through the documents, helped take the passport photo, and handled everything with a friendly, easygoing attitude.
The whole process was quick and smooth. She clearly explained what happens next and made sure we didn’t have any questions before we left. No confusion, no hassle.
I’ll be honest—I was a bit skeptical after reading some of the negative reviews, but that wasn’t my experience at all. Everything felt well-run and efficient. Would definitely recommend.”
“We finally had a great experience at a USPS and it was this location! After SEVERAL locations cancelled our passport appointments (Westmont twice and Lemont once) we finally got it done here. The lady that helped us was really nice (something you don’t see these days, USPS is comparable to the DMV’s employees now) and it was such a fast process. Kudos to this location.”
“I can’t praise the service of USPS enough. My sister sent me a package from abroad, but the local post office put my house number as the zip code, and the address on the mailing label was missing my house number. It’s express mail, but the tracking shows no location. I was so afraid that the package would be lost somewhere. I went on the USPS website and filed an inquiry. A customer service representative from the Westchester post office sent me an email and called me the next day. She explained to me how the shipping works and assured me that she would pay attention to the package when it arrived.
It’s been nine days since my sister sent it out. She was planning to purchase another one and send it to me again. On a whim, I rechecked the USPS tracking and found it had been sent to the Westchester post office this morning. Believe it or not, I got it this afternoon. Awesome service.”

I always have a wonderful experience at this post office, thanks to Tim. He is incredibly kind, patient, and helpful every time I come in. He is always so sweet to my son and makes us feel welcome.
One time I didn’t have tape for my package, and Tim went out of his way to help me find some so I could get everything mailed. It’s little acts of kindness like that that make such a difference.
He is always professional, friendly, and willing to help with any questions. Customer service like his is hard to find these days. Thank you, Tim, for making every visit such a positive experience!”
“We had some issues with a mail forwarding request and the mail not actually forwarding to requested address. Shawn called me when she was notified of the issue we were experiencing and confirmed details first, then took the initiative to call the other city post office where the update was to take place to get this corrected immediately which she did. This was so incredibly helpful and I really appreciate Shawn's help on this. She could have had me call the post office myself but she handled it for me and apologized, saying we shouldn't have to experience this. Thank you again Shawn! Appreciate you!”
“Strangely enough I have a fair bit of experiences with many different post offices in the area and this location is by far one of the nicest. The employees have come to recognize me and I am able to joke around with them which breaks the usual PO tension.”
“This post office can get pretty busy, and there usually is only one person cashiering, and sometimes even doing passports on the side, but this is not the employees’ fault, its whoever does the scheduling, staffing, or hiring.
Anyways, Pat and Michael are always there to help with a smile even though they are usually a one-person team dealing with so much by themselves. Thank you both keep up the good work!”

Once to get money order (expected), once to get offered options for tracked mailing and get form to fill out for certified mail, and finally to mail it. I have been to several other post offices in area that would have combined at least the first two steps.”

“I never been to this location. I was in the area and decided to stop in and send my package. Customer Service was nice. Clerks were very knowledgeable and professional with dealing with the ignorance of a rude customer. While waiting in line, I witnessed a customer be very rude to the clerk in which she didn’t raise her voice or stoop to the customer’s level. I’m very impressed on how the cashier handled the situation. There are some extremely obnoxious people in the world and love to come and ruin the happiness of others. Some people are angry without cause. I will definitely come back to this post office.”
“Isaiah who works there went well above and beyond to help me Track my package!! This shipment went from Boston to Colorado, then through their facility in Illinois, to New Jersey, back to Massachusetts where it belonged! I Spoke with many different people along the way, including the Vendor who sold me my package and it was Isaiah who followed up and called me numerous times to assist and update me the whole way through, until my package finally arrived! Bravo to Isaiah, he's the man! Exceptional customer service and well done sir! I truly appreciated your help!”

“Service has been improved. After all, this is federal job, and has a lot of rules for employees to follow.
I am asking community to support local USPS office, and asking to understand why people are actually serious about their job. I am hoping that administration will see my review! Please return two blue mail collections bins . It was not good idea to remove those. Before Christmas letters were falling out from that only one box. It creates traffic jam ,and line of 2 to 3 cars by that drop off box.”

“I use this location very often for an online selling business. Usually if the there is a long line I will just drop my letters off in the parcel box. But if there is no line I love handing my package off and getting to see the workers. They are super kind and friendly. A lot of people say there is never anyone there, but this location has a terrible management team. They usually only have one person working at a time, and if you have to use the bathroom or do something then there will be nobody manning the counter. I still like this location. Only ever had one issue and it was mostly my fault.”
“Went around lunchtime and I was the only customer in there. Super helpful at front desk. I haven't sent out a package in a bit and forgot to add a label (to/from). Luckily the lady at the front desk gave me a marker to fill it out and gave me options for sending. Paid and got out as fast as I could write. Thanks.”

“I’ve had consistently great experiences at this post office, and it’s become my go-to location for both everyday mailing needs and more important services. We regularly drop off prepaid packages here, and the process is always quick, smooth, and hassle-free. The staff keeps things moving efficiently, so even when it’s busy, we’re usually in and out without any problems.
One of the standout experiences was renewing our passports here. The process was clearly explained, organized, and handled professionally from start to finish. The employees were knowledgeable and patient, making sure everything was completed correctly, which gave us a lot of confidence. Even better, we received our renewed passports much faster than expected, which was a pleasant surprise and really shows how well things are handled.
The overall atmosphere is welcoming and professional, and the team consistently provides helpful, friendly service. I had stopped going to this, my local post office because the treatment I received from the workers was abominable and threatening. Hopefully this is a new crew, new start.”
“I see a lot of negative reviews here, but I gotta say that my experience at this location has been pretty positive. My mail carrier is great and when I've gotten a notice that a delivery attempt was made, but no one was home, I've always been able to get it the next day without issue. The hours do make it tough, but luckily I have the flexibility to get to the facility when they are open. I did have to call once after tracking a package and finding out it was at the facility but hadn't been delivered. The individual I spoke with (I wish I'd gotten his name...) was helpful and pulled someone out of a meeting to help me track it down. They found the package and I picked it up later that day. Sometimes they get it right!!!”
“Dropped off a labeled signature package here, didn't get a scan for a week. I suppose this could have been partly my mistake because I didn't ask for a receipt, but either way. I called the postmaster and the missing mail line, package tracking updated 2 days later.
Not too fast, and I did have to ask, but the postmaster was very kind on the phone, and my issue did end up getting resolved just a day after I spoke to her, and all things considered, pretty fast for government work.
4 stars. Would most likely use them again.”
