    “Aldi's used to be my go-to store.But they no longer carry skim milk in gallons.. I used to get several a week. They are also having trouble keeping shelves stocked with regular items. Also notice price increases that are now higher than regular grocery stores . I did have trouble with the self checkout overcharging me. The employees were very helpful and got my card credited right away and fixed the problem”

    “Today after I went from Sunday mass a fellow brother Mason roommate friend who I taken in had mentioned about this Amish grocery store in Orland Park. I usually go to the wedding the city by Roberto Clemente on Western and Cortez until I discovered this one. If you're into organic beyond whole foods or Mariano's and is willing to travel all the way to Orland Park from Chicago this is the place to go. They even had duck eggs that the Amish are up in Chicago says they are running out because of a season chain on ducks laying eggs. I had ordered the cherry pie but the disappointment was on Sundays they run out of pies by Saturday. It is best if you're going to order Amish pies to call in and reserve a pie at additional charge until you go to the store. The milk which is more traditional than oberweis or organic milk since you have to shake it in the bottle and drink it tasted much better and unique and doesn't give you gassiness or you're about to fart in the regards to being lactose intolerance I drank like three bottles of chocolate milk I didn't get a chance to take a picture cuz I was kind of in a hurry. Ambience from the owner was very amiable if not friendly but I will be coming back there because they also have shoo fly pie which I can't find in in whole foods. Four out of five stars because of the availability of the pies but other than that everything else that you could think of that's Amish and organic is there better than the one in Chicago.”

    “I chose Brookhaven Market Mokena to cater a large event that I just had. Many of our guests were gluten free due to Celiac Disease, as well as vegan. Brookhaven bent over backwards to assure complete control over possible contamination, as well as working with me every step of the way on vegan choices that would live up to the non-vegan counterparts. The food was FANTASTIC, there was no contamination and the price was very reasonable. At the end of the event, multiple people came to me to inquire as to where I catered from, they we so impressed. If I am in need of catering, anytime in the future, I will be utilizing Brookhaven for my catering needs!!”

    “I truly like this store! They have different kinds of variety of Mexican food. I especially like their gorditas! Made fresh everyday, especially their dough. They have beans with cheese, asado, and carne molida. It's delicious! (I just wish they would drain the grease from the carne molida. Sometimes it's a bit greasy.) Other than that, it's good food!! I also like their variety of chips and beverages. The owner is very nice and helpful! Also the employees are nice as well. Definitely worth the trip for good and hot Mexican food!”

Because the discount couldn’t be applied, I ultimately decided to cancel the order and request a refund. The employee in charge of the online pickup service yesterday was absolutely wonderful.     “Stopped in today and had another great experience. We usually come here to refill our 5-gallon water jugs, and it’s easily the best price in town. Their chicken prices are also some of the best around. Meat in general can be a little expensive everywhere these days, but the quality here is really good so it’s worth it.     Kroger is spending $112 million to build two new stores and renovate 15 existing locations across central and northwest Ohio. The company calls it a "record-breaking" commitment to the region. The two new Kroger Marketplace stores will rise in Canal Winchester and Delaware, Ohio, each costing roughly $30 million to build. Kroger broke ground on the Canal Winchester location on March 19 at the southeast corner of Diley Road and Greengate Boulevard. The 118,000-square-foot store is expected to open in late fall 2026 and will create around 250 jobs.

    Loblaw Companies Limited is putting serious money into its retail network this year. Canada's largest food and pharmacy retailer announced it will spend $2.4 billion in 2026 to open new stores, renovate existing locations and strengthen its supply chain. The company plans to open 70 new stores in 2026. That includes 34 Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmaprix pharmacies and care clinics, along with 31 hard-discount No Frills and Maxi grocery stores. On top of the new openings, Loblaw will renovate another 191 stores and continue construction on a roughly 1.2 million-square-foot automated distribution center in Caledon, Ontario.
