“Ordered Thanksgiving catering to pick up on the night before. It would be cold but I did not need it for the next day. Ordered to eat when I was ready. Turkey Breast sweet potato's and stuffing. This was the best and most moist Turkey breast I've had in a long time. It was sliced in nice sized serving pieces not chunks like some places provided. Sweet potatoes were chunks with a sweet glaze brown sugar and nuts I think. Stuffing I was not a fan of. It was a bit too soft in texture for my taste and could have used more sage. I purchased each item aka cart which was a half pan each serving 8-10. On another note the store employees that assisted me were wonderful. The deli people that handled my catering order and the cashier and bagger at checkout were so friendly band pleasant. I was greeted and thanked. .Also wished a happy thanksgiving. This is so rare these days to get such pleasant greetings and smiles! This was a very positive experience and will be looking forward to repeating it for my Christmas meal.”

“This location is struggling. They have had issues with road construction on multiple and long occasions. This has cut off traffic to their location. This being said they have to account for it and go the extra mile to bring in business. Unfortunately they have failed in this area. Both my wife and I have rotated grocery stores on a weekly basis for years. We finally decided to go to the Orland Park location permanently and not to go anywhere else. They earned our business early on when they first opened. But the past several weeks have left us very disappointed. Our last experience was on Friday, our usual day, and the shelves were all but empty. Basic stuff like bananas were out of stock. I asked the manager to get some out of the back and she said they did not have any. And this was across the entire store. Not paying their bills? Who knows but this is unacceptable as I had to go across the street to Jewel to get the bananas, blue berries and Honey Crisp apples which they haven't had in weeks. I want this location to succeed. Its two blocks from my house and brand new. But I will not put up with this. Shape up Aldi or I will go to one of the other three locations within a short driving distance from me.”

“Stopped at Berkot's to pick up some more ranch dressing for my salad, first time I've been to Berkots. The store was stocked very well and had plenty of displays with delicious items set out for subliminal shopping!! Like I said, I came in for dressing but left with Gouda Cheese, crackers, garlic butter and a baguette!!!!!! Those displays definitely had me distracted!!!”
