“I had a wonderful experience at Xtra Mile! Both the owner Chris and the associate Kevin who I worked with were super resourceful and patient in helping me find the right running shoes for me. Appreciated the gait analysis they do at the store (having you walk/run on the treadmill and analyzing your video) and shoe recs. Ended up getting Brooks Glycerin Max on sale, which I’m liking so far. Chris is very involved in the community too and tries to be a resource for runners of all levels. Highly recommend this Xtra Mile Running!”

“Every time I shop at this location the customer service is excellent. Today and on previous visits Tally assisted me by setting my fitting room and finding outfits and clothes. She is great about asking the occassion/event and what look I'm going for. Once she has that info she goes to work! With the store having such a large inventory and tons of looks Im very grateful she assisted me today. When I was waiting a few minutes in line for a cashier she even called for backup. Elijah was my cashier who is always pleasant snd professional. My only con for the visit was that the music was too loud. In addition to Tally there were other staff members that offered assistance today. Every piece I bought today was picked by Tally except one. The staff my shopping experience easy and my vaca looks ??”
“LED and Safety is one of the only stores I would highly recommend to anyone looking for safety/ Hi-VIS wear of the best quality for the lowest possible prices. First and foremost, my experience with the owner was unforgettable. He made me feel comfortable with my every purchase and was extremely knowledgeable on all merchandise. It is quite obvious all items retailed are chosen with care, as I did not see a single one in the well-curated shop that was not of the highest quality in terms of brand, craftsmanship, and product reliability. Considering I am a highly-selective shopper, I rarely purchase multiple items from the same shop. As seen in the photos, I cannot get enough of LED and Safety. Visit the site, stop in and peruse for yourself- do whatever you have to do to purchase from such a reliable, trusted source. LED and Safety is definitely a must-visit, hidden local gem.”

“First off I want to start by saying that Gabe the manager at journeys in the hip mall went above and beyond to resolve my problem. He was very professional when I explained to him about the shoes that I purchased and the outcome of using a cleaning product I purchased as well and the effects of it into how it ruined my shoes. He took the time to resolve the issue which shocked me because it’s rare to see those outcomes nowadays, I will continue to shop at journeys as a loyal customer because of Gabe’s stellar professionalism in customer service, journeys should be lucky to have a great employee as this young man.

“I was at DSW Randhurst in Mt Prospect right before the July 4th 2025 holiday and had the pleasure of dealing with the manager Josh. I had a unique situation that was very out of the ordinary. Josh took the time to explain my options and provided me the contact information I needed. When the contact people told me they could not help me, Josh personally took over and worked magic is the best way to describe it. He then called me to let me when how the issue was resolved. I have NEVER had a retail manager go out of there way to solve a problem like this AND to actually call and update you - AMAZING! Oh and DSW Randhurst is a great location with excellent, knowledgeable staff.”
