βMarissa was absolutely wonderful. My 6yo daughter has exceptionally high sensory feelings on the top of her feet. It's extremely hard to buy shoes for her. Even brands that offer Wide Width don't always miss that zone on the top of the foot by the toes and she just can't wear them. Vans collaborated with Kpop Demon Hunters and my kids wanted them sooo bad.
Was able to get their sizes and when I brought them home .... Like I feared, she wouldn't be able to wear them. I went back to the store to return them with daughter in hand to try on other shoes praying we could find something that she would be able to wear.
I explained my concern to Marissa and she absolutely understood and patiently went through box after box after box after box with not even a hint of frustration (a pure Saint). She found a high top that was even in the Kpop DH collection in a different size to give her that extra wiggle room (Thank you @Vans for being one of the few brands to offer 1/2 sizes) and that smile my daughter had when they fit and were comfortable is the reason us parents will go out of the way for. That smile was everything! Thank you, Marissa for having such patience and understanding with the dedication to help us get a pair of shoes today. It meant the world to me!β
βI got there at 6:45 pm and they stay past their closing time. They did not rush me at all we finished at 7:20 pm. I thought they closed at 8 pm. But they close at 7 pm. That is great customer service. Thank You staff.β

βFor your average shoe, limited selection but surely more than what department stores carry. They do offer to ship you your size for free if they don't have it. They don't carry specific shoes like Tennis or Pickleball shoes though.β

βHad a very pleasant today at this location. We usually shop at the Orland Park location, but decided to make the drive out here today. The store was crowded but employees were moving around fast. Our cashier, Zeynep D. was very helpful and friendly, she asked us if we needed gift receipts and even stapled them to each one of our items so they didn't get mixed up. Friendly employees and line moves quick. Great location!β

βI’ve shopped here for years, but never thought to leave a review. I went in a couple of days ago to get a top for a last-minute job interview. When they asked if I could come in “tomorrow” for the interview I thought of the most likely places I could find good options. EF quickly came to mind. I had to take my daughter to an event so I had less than 30 minutes to shop.
I had a pair of pants at home that needed a light-colored top. One of the staff members helped me pick out a few options that would go well. He also looked for another size for me. It was close to closing time, but I was able to quickly try them on and found something I liked. I’m so glad I went in! I know confidence doesn’t come from the clothes, but it sure helps. :)
The staff here is always very nice and it’s great to pay less for timeless pieces. Now that I stopped to think about how long I’ve been shopping there, it’s probably been about 10 years. Very rarely have I been disappointed by an EF piece from this store.
If you like Eileen Fisher clothing it’s definitely worth a visit.β

βWandered into the store 3/27/26, and wanted to remark on the best customer service I've personally experienced in the Schaumburg area. The employees quickly saw that I wanted to browse alone, and were respectful and polite about it. Alternatively, two other shoppers clearly did want more help/attention and the employees provided it. I will be much more likely to shop in store again if the employees continue to demonstrate the level of customer awareness I experienced.β

They are very attentive and helpful, I wish I got their names. They offer to put all the clothes in the dressing room as I picked them out and when I was getting ready to try on they had some other things they suggest I should try ! And I ended buying a few things they picked out as well.... my experience has been really great. Would go back if Iβm every in town!β

βI had a wonderful experience at Xtra Mile! Both the owner Chris and the associate Kevin who I worked with were super resourceful and patient in helping me find the right running shoes for me. Appreciated the gait analysis they do at the store (having you walk/run on the treadmill and analyzing your video) and shoe recs. Ended up getting Brooks Glycerin Max on sale, which Iβm liking so far. Chris is very involved in the community too and tries to be a resource for runners of all levels. Highly recommend this Xtra Mile Running!β
