Tucker's Doggie Delights
2011 Calistoga Dr, New LenoxMy fur baby only gets food and treats from here. Why? Our previous fur baby had Cushings and thanks to meds, and good advice from staff here, she lived a long, full life. They even made me a memorial picture of her. Current fur baby is entitled to the same treatment. She is a picky eater, and they have worked with us to find food she will eat most of the time.

Pawsitively Pampered Dog Spa & Boutique
1271 N Cedar Rd, New LenoxBecky is so patient with my dog Barney when she trims his nails. I won’t take him anywhere else. I’ve never had a dog who acts like the Incredible Hulk when they get their nails trimmed but he is and she is so wonderful with him .

Julie's Pet Grooming
201 Church St, New LenoxJulie and her team are amazing, they do a wonderful job with our giant breeds. Petco wasn’t able to get one our rescue in the bath because she was so scared but Julie and her team got her in there and took care of her (I think it was multiple people that have to get her in the tub because she’s 180 pounds!) I don’t know what the shampoo has in it but I think it’s made of gold because the dogs smell SO GOOD and for so long too, I’m talking at least a month these dogs smell like heaven!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! The only “downside” is that they book far out and book quickly but that’s a very good thing because you KNOW they have fans and people are willing to wait to get their dogs in here. We already booked for 6 months and 12 months so that we don’t forget until the last minute!

All 4 Paws Pet Grooming
344 W Maple St, New LenoxI brought both of my pugs in together expecting complete chaos because they get overly excited around other dogs. Surprisingly, the staff handled them calmly and kept everything organized even during busy afternoon hours. Their wrinkles were cleaned properly, nails trimmed smoothly, and coats looked shiny afterward. One thing I really liked was that the salon itself smelled clean instead of overwhelming like many grooming shops. Both dogs ended up sleeping almost the entire evening once we got home afterward.

Pet Care

Cedar Way Veterinary Clinic
2041 Calistoga Dr, New LenoxI’ve been coming to the clinic for just under a year and a half and today I saw Dr Daily for the first time. She was wonderful. I never felt rushed and I felt like she genuinely cared about the issues I am having with my two cats. She listened to everything I had to say, thoroughly addressed my questions/concerns and took the time to ask about other options to consider. She also handled my cats in a very sensitive and careful manner that I haven’t seen other vets do which was great as they already are very anxious about being at the vet. I highly recommend her.
The only thing I wish the clinic offered was submissions to the pet insurance provider on the clients behalf vs having to pay the full bill then submit the claim yourself. It just makes the process quicker and easier when the vet does it in my experience w/other clinics.

Hickory Creek Animal Hospital
2653 E Lincoln Hwy, New LenoxWhat an absolute gem of a vet office from the girls up front to the vet himself. I just took one of my dogs here for her first visit with Dr Walter. The amount of care and compassion this entire team showed was unreal. Everyone is so kind and they spend so much quality time with you and your dog. They literally spoil your dog and they are so thorough. I am actually quite stunned at what a wonderful experience we had. If all businesses operated like this, the world would be a better place. I couldn’t make an appointment for our other dog fast enough. Thank you Hickory Creek Animal Hospital for going above and beyond.

Animal Clinic at New Lenox
1328 N Cedar Rd, New LenoxThe staff is pretty friendly - especially the techs. The prices seem a little expensive compared to what we paid when we lived in Oak Forest. Sometimes wait times seem long, but I understand that each patient is different and needs different amount of care/time.

Francis Field Dog Obedience School
801 E Francis Rd, New LenoxWe are currently attending an obedience class for puppies here. Both my husband & I are thrilled with both instructors! They are superb teachers, kind, patient, & extremely helpful! You can tell that they respect & love dogs. We drive over an hour to get there during rush hour. To us it's worth it. Plus it's reasonably prized. We plan on continuing attending for the next set of classes. We are grateful for the instructors sharing their knowledge & information. We highly recommend this place!

Gost Coffee Roasters
1333 S Schoolhouse Rd, New LenoxI have been going with friends to a new coffee house every month for a coffee clutch. I had a dark chocolate cherry coffee. The best coffe I've ever had! The proportions of flavors were perfection, you could taste both flavors with it being too sweet. I also had a scone that was slightly crusty on the outside, but not dry on the inside, phenomenal. Atmosphere, kind eclectic, funky, in a fun way. I loved that there is plenty of seating from cozy corners, to tables for groups. It was pretty crowded, though.

Arrowhead Ales Brewing Company
2101 Calistoga Dr, New LenoxRestaurant is nestled back in the strip mall east of the train tracks and next to the Berkots.
2nd time visiting here in about 5 or so years. We ate out on the patio area outside this time- nice atmosphere. The outdoor area has a roof and is mostly enclosed with a bar (when in use is probably for special events) and has tarps/shades that can be pulled down. There were bugs out with the warmer weather & my wife commented that they should have screens as well as the tarps which would have helped keep out the larger ones, but it's the nature of eating outdoors so it's to be expected. Only 1 mosquito bothered us besides a few gnats- nothing too annoying.
The waitress was nice but she was too busy with a group of 24 people inside, which she did tell us. We were mostly on our own and our appetizers came pretty late. The food, however, was all very good for both appetizers and meals. I had an American burger which was pretty tasty- we all liked the fries too.
There was live entertainment going on inside too- a female singer also playing guitar and from what we could hear when the doors would open to the outdoor patio, she was playing 90s grunge and pop but in an indie style with her acoustic guitar (heard The Cranberries' Zombie and Alanis Morrissette's Ironic for anyone who cares to know what style...). The indoor entertainment area was a small stage at the south end of the indoor restaurant area. The indoor area, even though we just passed through to go outside, seemed like a col environment with a typical sports bar & grill style & layout. Large bar area- slot machines in the back.

JBD White Horse Inn
348 W Maple St, New LenoxI want to say we highly recommend this place for a reception. Melissa, Phil,Tadom, and Dani all worked with us to make our event spectacular. They rocked it. So much fun! We wanted a small wedding reception but big enough for around 60 people and a place that was kid friendly especially for some kids who need a little sensory nook. We were allowed to set a a small tent in the corner with a cumfy rug pullows and blankets that we purchased on Amazon. We decorated and brought our own centerpieces and tablecloths beforehand. Everything worked out great. The food is Buffet style and this place is known for its pot roast which is amazing. All the food was amazing. There is a park with a lake behind the venue and we got our amazing wedding cake from the bakery that is practically right next door. White Horse Inn is the perfect spot to celebrate and we can't thank everyone at this place enough!
