“A few days ago, I desperately looked for a local mechanic/shop to help me do a very simple thing that I attempted do myself. I had to replace both lowbeam bulbs in my car. My hands are kind of arthritic so I was having much difficulty. I drove around the neighborhood and found Lincoln Wilson Auto Service. I walked in and asked for help. A gentleman with the shop told me to pull my car in. I'm sure he sensed my desperation and proceeded to switch out the bulbs for me. No charge. I am grateful for the patience and professionalism of the mechanic who helped me. Sadly, I am forgetting his name, but will be returning for future services. Thanks to this Good Samaritan.”

“I highly recommend this auto shop. Victor and Tony are great! They take my car in right away when I need to come in at the last minute. They always offer a ride home so I do not have to pay for an Uber. They are good about calling with updates about the car. I had just got new tires 2 weeks ago and the tire pressure light came on again. I brought it back in and after replacing one of the battery sensors, they told me it was a gift as they felt bad for missing that during the previous visit. Great staff!”

I had a cracked windshield from a fallen tree branch that was supposed to be an easy fix with Safelite...turns out some corrosion along the frame would've left me with a compromised seal with potential leaks and Safelite recommended FIRST going to a body shop. Since I work walking distance from Wilmette Autobody...I thought I'd give them a shot. Glad I did!
Super fair price to repair the rust/corrosion and made scheduling my visit with Safelite super easy (they simply installed windshield at Wilmette Autobody). Job was done in a day!

“Oscar's is a local, indepedently-owned, small business in Chicago. I've used them for several years and the prices are always great. They recognize me when I call or come in, and are friendly and willing to go the extra mile to keep you happy. I was recently in an expensive accident, for the first time. My insurance told me to get an estimate at a big body shop I didn't know. The price was eye-watering. My company decided it was a total loss. However, we love our car and it has only 84,000 miles on it. I decided to bring it to Oscar's to see what they said. They gave us a much better price to fix it. Harry, the amazing owner, talked us through navigating the process of getting an insurance payout while keeping our car. Oscar's price was so good, we decided to repair the A/C compressor as well (needed fixing before the accident). I can't say enough great things about this shop. I'm a customer for life.”

“First I’ll start off by saying, I’ve never had bodywork done here. But what was done here, I’m not disappointed by. In March I was in an accident with my 1981 olds cutlass cruiser. Insurance paid me out and I bought all body panels to fix it. I installed everything myself just to discover that the frame was bent, when it didn’t appear to be at first. I brought it to Erich’s Lehigh and they said it was really bad. The car didn’t drive straight. They put it on their frame machine and after hours they got it back to normal. It is now completely straight, with the exception of a couple body lines due to my installing of the body panels. But what they did was done great. The first photo is when the frame was bent. Second is now. I’m extremely happy. I know people that have used them for body work and from what I’ve seen it’s top notch. Great people to deal with. And the price was reasonable.”
