“I love hitting this place first if I'm looking for a small table. You have to come often because things are priced to move quickly. I also come here often for disposable coffee cups and napkins. You can also find inexpensive new hotel towels and bedding. They get lots of new items from hotels changing brands and are going under renovation. I've found gallons of body wash or shampoo for $5-7. Some of these items are sold in lots or boxes.”

“We were looking for a refrigerator. Went to Lowes then four other stores including the two main competitors. We decided on a model Menards had but just before buying my son googled and found the same fridge on sale $400 cheaper at Lowes. Plus they had a $50 off on purchases over $500. The other placed wouldn’t deliver on Sunday but Lowe’s said it would. The salesman was super friendly. Great experience and saved a bundle. And that a pretty “cool” deal.”

I had great experience at the store today when picking up 8 bags of garden soil by myself. “I worked with Angela a couple years back for a kitchen sink as well as other kitchen stuff. She did a great job offering suggestions to help piece our cabinets together. We had a problem with a leaky sink and contacted angela. She took care of it within a day and had parts via warranty by the end of the week . I'd highly recommend her if you ever need anything done!!!”

“Only reason why I give Home Depot 4/5 Stars is due to their unwillingness (on a corporate level) to accept NFC Payments (Apple Pay, etc.).
For the record… at this point, ALL three of Home Depot’s direct big-box competitors; Lowe’s, Menards, and Ace Hardware; accept Apple Pay. HD is one of the few-remaining retail companies who continue to take this stubborn stance.
I know this is a corporate issue, but it’s still a bit ridiculous that there are places where I can’t pay with my digital wallet in 2024.
Otherwise, great selection, clean store, and friendly service. The usual to be expected at HD. ?”
“Review written 8/17/2025. Customer service kind of rude about a return I did just because I couldn’t find the receipt. I didn’t mind store credit, so why be rude about it?
But nice selection of items including cool inflatables (see black cat pictured here)”
“Another great experience with Diamond Paint. They are remarkably helpful people - spent 40 minutes with us custom matching a stain for a new table top - need it to match the rest of the set in our kitchen. No extra charge - just the cost of the stain and varnish. Have had similar great experiences with them before.”
“The Home Depot on Lincoln and McCormick in Chicago has the best customer service. My mom ordered blinds from there and there was some snafus but Karla and Noelle were so great resolving the issues. My mom is very happy. We will definitely make this our first choice for home improvement stores.”
