I had to cancel my reservation more than the company policy of 24 hrs prior to pick up which they will need to take out my reservation fee Upon calling them and explaining that i had a death in the family and needed all my resources to be able to go to new jersey for the funeral they were kind enough to to return the whole amount, it's seldom now a days to actually talk to real people and reason with them and actually understand what your going through. “It was my first time using a rental from Enterprise. Their location is easily accessible. The process is fast. The few problems that I have are 1) The deposit amount should be told as you soon as you walk through the door. Don't wait until I provide my debit card, my ID, and my information because after you tell me the deposit, I'll decided if I want to continue with the process. 2) Speaking of deposit, $300 is ridiculous and excessive. I wouldnt mind paying $100,150, or $200. 3) I would like to know what vehicles are available when I walk through the door. So if all of the suvs are gone, I would like to know that when I come in the door. Dont just assume I will be ok with the cars left”
“I searched for a 24 hour car rental and came across multiple rental agencies but chose to go with Alamo (Ohare Airport) location and they did not disappoint. I did everything online which was a breeze to navigate through. Reserved the type of car I wanted head out and to Alamo showed my license to a smiling representative and they directed me to a selection of clean ready to go SUV's. When I was done the return process was just as easy . Pull forward the attendant scanned the car in and said have a good evening and thank you for choosing the Alamo. That was the easiest and most pleasant experience I have ever had renting a car. Thank you Alamo!”

“The Enterprise on Skokie Blvd was excellent. The directions provided on day one were informative. When the shop extended days, Enterprise answered all my questions and assured me everything was okay on their end. Also the car started fine and ran smooth. In addition they notified me the rental was picked up at the shop where I left it and passed inspection and also Dan addressed the return of my deposit without me having to ask.

“There was an issue with the car leaking a little oil so when I was sure it had enough oil I drove it back to Enterprise and although they didn't have another rental for me at the moment they got it fixed as quickly as was possible and I was back on the road. The assistant manager was absolutely great.”

I was asking for a specific car and he ended up getting it but unfortunately it came in with bald tires, Jim explained he didn't feel comfortable with me taking it on the road. I really appreciate that he takes his customers safety at hand. Jim ended up getting me an upgraded car which in the long run turned out for the best. The local manager Jim is very knowledgeable, professional, and always goes above and beyond to meet my needs. I have a half a dozen rental companies closer to my house but I will go out of my way to rent from Jim in Highland Park. He always takes care of myself and my family. “The experience was overall good. The car was fairly clean. To my surprise, it was a newer car. I expected an outdated vehicle since it's for community usage but i was pleasantly surprised. I really like the app. I was able to see the amount of fuel that the vehicle contained and detailed location information which helped me with my decision. The only complaint I have is that it is a little bit too pricey for the amount of time you get. I only had the vehicle for about 3 1/2 hrs and it costed me about $68. This included all of the fees and extra insurance coverage. A person could just go to a regular car rental establishment and have the car for the whole day for close to this price. A person could also get 2 days for about $100 with hyre car if you choose the right owner. Overall, I would use this service again to run QUICK errands.”

“Very easy to get there on the train, picked up a rental car inside and the entire area is spacious, clean, and modern. Was able to easily find my way in and out with the rental car.”
“Friendly service and the salesman stayed late to accommodate the rental, even though we arrived in town after they closed. They quoted a lower price but it was $65 dollars higher than the quote even though they said the original quote had covered all taxes and fees. All in all very good, very nice service. The prices were fair, but not good.”

“wonderful! the man that lent me the truck and checked me out made the process short, sweet, and to the point. charged exactly what was talked about. i communicated that i was running i want to say maybe 30 mins late max to getting the truck back and he was very understanding, didn't even charge me (probably because no one was waiting, thankfully!) all in all, a really good experience. this happened two years ago, but i moved again recently and was reminded of this location, so i had to leave a review.”
