“The location in Gardner, IL had the sweetest and most helpful lady ive ever met. Our car broke down on the interstate while on vacation and i was able to coast into the lot. I had my 1 yo baby, 10 yo daughter, as well as my wife with me. She pulled out a few chairs from the back and let my kiddos sit down while on the AC until the tow truck got us. I didnt catch her name but she was a huge help. This took place today on July 3rd.”

“I always love coming to this spot because it would remind me of the trips I would make to see my partner and I would always stop by for some gas since it was in the middle. Maybe I’m just starting to appreciate and enjoy the little things more, but I was really happy to see the worker, Harvard, work hard and be passionate about his job. It’s not to say that it’s all about being perfect (although my trip yesterday was), but the fact that he seemed to be enjoying his job and treat the customers with respect. It’s nice to see that for a change compared to some other places where the employees seem lifeless. I appreciated when he checked up on me without having to ask. The energy he exhibited was nice and it made me feel happier just to see him happy. I hope this continues to be the case. I hope Harvard gets the recognition he deserves for doing his job well!”
“I was very pleased with the fuel here, it was seriously like BP where I got a little extra distance per gallon nothing crazy but definitely better then most other places.
I would definitely return to this location again in the future.”

“We usually get their pizza only when they have the specials going on. Taco pizza, breakfast pizza & the chicken bacon one are really good. Not a huge fan of their wings or breadsticks. I also grab a slice every now and then if I’m on the go and want a quick bite.”

“The lady I had was very nice. Wasn't busy at all. I was in and out no problem. This is a good CVS to go to it's kinda small which I liked alot! Had what I needed so worked out well. They do have at home covid tests if needed.”
“I have traveled thousands of miles on the road and have stopped at umpteen gas stations. This is not overly special compared to the Wally's and Shell across from it. But I gotta say, it definitely has the freshest smelling bathroom I have ever been in! That made this stop worthwhile- kudos to the staff for that, and thank you!!”

“We are snowbirds from Canada, and on a recent trip to Phoenix Arizona, we stopped at the Pontiac Shell for gas and a break. We had a coffee and a delicious sweet bun, then carried on. Upon arriving at our hotel in St. Louis, we realized our credit card was missing. My wife suggested we call shell gas and see if it was left there. We spoke with a young lady name Angela, who confirmed they had found the credit card so I asked her if it would be possible to mail it to us in Arizona. NO PROBLEM was her response! Once we arrived in Arizona, we found the credit card waiting for us. We want to thank Angela. for the time she spent looking for the card and then being courteous enough to mail it to us. It certainly saved a lot of time contacting visa to have them cancel our card and send out a replacement. Hats off to Angela for a tremendous job. We look forward to stopping there on the way back.
