“I went in on 2/26/24 a little before closing to get stuff to make smores. I walked in and was greeted by the owner and another employee. I told the owner what I needed and he kindly led me around the store to each item I needed and then quickly was able to get me through the register. You will not find this kind of service anywhere and I appreciate their hard work to keep our grocery store open in a small town. Keep up the amazing work!”
“I came here specifically for donuts after reading the wonderful reviews and they did not disappoint! Living in Rockford I have access to plenty of grocery store and gas station donuts but none of them can compete with these. They're big, like the size of everyone else's donuts before shrinkflation. And the cinnamon rolls are absolutely massive for the same price. I'm actually still in disbelief. Just look at this thing, it took a substantial amount of space in the box! Very impressive pastries and the staff were so friendly. Will be coming back next time I'm craving fried sweet treats, they're worth a 20 minute drive. Please don't ever switch to frozen/thawed like so many other places.”
“The store had the items we were looking for. The employees were friendly and when the one check out line started getting too long, the lady called up 2 more cashiers. The site did appear a bit sparce, there were empty shelves.”
“I called to ask if they had double-sided tape. The women I spoke to checked for me and initially came back to say they didn’t have any. She was very pleasant and helpful. A few minutes later, she called me back to let me know she had found some after all. When I came into the store, she was professional and friendly. “This is a good place to shop and usually the deli has good food but the chicken strips are really big! I didn't care for them, had better but my sides were good! Overall this is a good place for a quick trip and cashiers are very nice and give good service!”
