βI've been coming here for years and always received great service. I wasn't feeling too well today and had to send my husband in for our order. I was able to give them my list over the phone and schedule a pick up time. This was a life saver! The guys & women here are so nice. Thank you all so much!β
βGreat place to get a cheap sandwich and some italian lunch cuts. The best thing about this place is you can actually get Brick Cheese for your Detroit style pizza!β

βSells staple products at an excellent value. Seasonal products abound, and many are delightful at low prices, but they sell out quickly. Some of them never return.
We say every time we visit "the Aldi's giveth, and the Aldi's taketh away"
You have to be ready to "go with the flow" when you become an Aldi's shopper. I have, and I like it.β
βLove me some aldis. Take your quarter though! They have great prices already but then even their markdowns tend to be amazing! You really never know what you can get in there. But you can get all your regular necessities as well!β
βWhile smaller than a lot of other ALDI locations, they still carry all the basics and their prices can't be beat. Their produce is always fresh when I do my shopping. I do 99% of my grocery shopping at ALDI and save thousands a year in the process.β
βIn addition to your usual supermarket goods, Dierbergs has many specialty and hard to find items. Delicious gourmet prepared food options such as sushi and pven fried chicken are amongst a vast variety of treats.β
βThis Saveway was near Union and hwy 55. The store was very organized ?. They had items that the inner city don't carry. The clerk was smiley friendly, but NO conversation what so ever.β
βBest store Iβve found in the area! They have a wonderful selection, super friendly staff, and really fresh options. Their guac and queso (packaged up from the restaurant) is super fresh and tastes delicious.β
βGood selection and found their prices for annuals were comparable to Walmartβs prices. Staff is always knowledgeable and eager to help. Prefer supporting local when possible.β
βI only started going here since my boyfriend is a chef. After picking up a couple things for him I decided to buy. Great food, great price and staff are always helpful in finding what I need.β
βThe costumer service is the best in the area. This is a family owned store and they want to make sure you leave happy. Jon Switzer always makes sure my orders are correct. He points me in the right direction and gives me great recommendations for new things to try. Keep up the great work!β
βI was in need of some fried buffalo fish- I took the ride to Washington Illinois and havenβt been disappointed yet! The family all have different tastes and everyone was satisfied. I had Buffalo fish, Mac/cheese and sweet potatoes, and green beans; hubby had ham hocks (they were huge and meat falling off the bone tender) sweet potatoes and greens (heard they are glory greens/ thatβs a no for me); daughter had whiting, Mac/cheese and sweet potatoes!
Dietary restrictions: well, if you arenβt supposed eat fried foods, this isnβt the place for you.
Parking: The lot isnβt very large and uneven, but turn around is quick, you get in and out in about 10 mins.β
βThe only place I can buy chicken. I am allergic to soy and at least their thighs and drumsticks don't seem to have traces of soy. I haven't had the same results with the breasts and wings, which is weird because I would imagine it's all coming from same chickens. Anyway I'm stay clear of the wings and breasts and I'm fine with the thighs and drumsticks. Produce is great also!β
βI do most of my emergency preps here, though they don't always have what I'm looking for and some potluck is involved, the prices are so good I always check here first before my regular grocery shopping anywhere else. Even during the pandemic shutdown some things they never seemed to run out of, like toilet paper, cleaning supplies and of course food. It's the sole reason I made sure I got myself a 5 cubic foot chest freezer, (and it filled up fast)There is also Dollar Tree, Soulard Famer's Market and Globe Drugs nearby.β
βGreat under utilized grocery store. Ruler sells a lot of Kroger beans foods, most everything is name brand and less expensive than other stores. It's rarely full of people, always well stocked and a definite 10/10β
βThe Farm fresh milk store is a staple in our city there is also another one on pontoon Road. The milk is available there in half gallon glass bottles and believe me the taste is noticeably great. They have a lot of different things available inside like any convenience store.You could buy any quick item you need milk bread sandwich meat sodas anything in a big variety of candies.My favorite is the paper quart container for buttermilk I love it and I am there always to purchase.Also for your convenience they fill propane tanks.β

βThey had no green grapes at all. My recipe called for red and green. Forced me to get them elsewhere. Today I was there again and they had plenty of both at a good price.β
βIt's clean, organized,and the staff seems friendly. They have cashiers at their registers "good thing"As well as self checkout. Store have everything thats supposed be sold there n stock.β
βThis corner store is close to my work and I found it has the best prices on cigarettes in the area. I work in a nursing home and my residents are on a very limited budget. So when they want a carton of cigarettes they can't pay $40 for a carton of 24/7s which are one of the cheapest cigarettes available. I appreciate this storeβ
βNice, but the other day there was only one white guy working. We waited in line for like 10 minutes. Whatever, we get it, and felt bad for the guy as there were several people inquiring about other cashiers.
We get up to the line and my mom is pulling up her app to pay for the food. The cashier rolls his eyes, sighs, and then yells "PLEASE HAVE YOUR PAYMENT READY WHEN YOU GET TO THE FRONT OF THE LINE". Like. Sir. We waited for so long. You can't wait a few seconds while my mom pulls up her payment?Seriously? She wasn't being rude or literally anything like the rest of the folks in line. She was actively trying to not even act frustrated. She was waiting patiently and was just trying to get out.
I get he was frustrated, but my mom was already anxious about that. There was no need to act so rudely and it only took her literally 6 seconds. Get right, Man. Save the attitude for people who deserve it.
It just pissed me off.β

βThe employees are friendly, patient and helpful. It was a little understocked but otherwise operating as expected. 4 out of 5 because one cashier out of two decided she needed to close her register while several customers were in line, and it would be nice to see self checkout or express options.β

βPrices are a bit higher than a normal grocery store, but this place deals in organic foods mostly & it's healthier so that is that. They do have many sales on items and I think I saved almost $14.00 & some change.. I will be going there from now on, makes sense when it benefits our healthβ
