“So I needed a few things and this reminded me of the warm feels of a little mom and pop shop.I had an issue with my card, and the owner was very friendly and helpful. I didn't have cash on me, only my card, and I'm sure they have a minimum on card purchases, but I needed a couple screws and washers which was like 60 cents.. he said don't worry about it... Well because of that, I just bought a bunch of snacks and pops and spent like $25 anyway with the items because that's the types of shops we should be supporting.Random selection of hot sauce also you won't find in many places, I had to buy one. It was pretty decent flavor ?Keep it up guys! A+++++”
“This is something that gets more and more rare every year: a well-stocked, well-run, locally owned small business with high-quality goods. Support them while a few still exist.”

“Yea, sometimes disappointing store not open.
However dozens of times I have found great deals at Retool. Top name air tools slightly used third price of new. Just about any Milwaukee or Dewalt cheaper than box stores, many NIB.
I called Dave looking for a kick bender that cost $300 new. He had same model used for $100.
A concrete grinding wheel new package 1/2 the price of store that carries it.
OMG machinist taps, Osg pennies on dollar prices.
Power tools what a selection.
Thanks Dave and wonderful staff.

“Some employees are worth their weight in gold. Vicki in appliances at the Rockford location is of those employees! She is helpful, patient, kind, and extremely knowledgeable.”
“Idk what's up with all these 1 star reviews. I walked in made myself known. Showed the guy what part I needed. He got it, I paid for it and left. Simple easy transaction. I think some people go in unprepared with a bad attitude. Then get what what they give and can't handle it.”
“It was ok, they don't carry replacement parts for the shit in store.. can't find a good replacement part for their made stuff.. plus they won't take back broken sprayers even tho its been cleaned out, u get a card to call n it says either take back to store, or won't go past the ring tone”
“Whether you’re working on a small DIY project or a bigger renovation, Home Depot is always a reliable place to shop. I’ll definitely be back for my next project! ??✨”
“I honestly don't mind shopping here but I want people to know theplastic bags logo ink will come on your clothes if the bag gets wet so please be careful and everyone know that works at Menard's as well to get this under control.”
“Needed an auger. While they were a little more expensive than Walmart, they were in stock at the store, and Walmart only offered them online.
When you have a toilet that needs an auger, there is no time to wait for shipping. That is an immediate need. Thank you, Lowe's!”
“A great hardware store! All kinds of things in stock and ready to go! A very knowledgeable staff to get you what you need.Definitely not a lumber yard or a big box hardware store. They carry some great high end tools and metrology equipment in stock.I recently picked up some rubber leg ends for a folding chair and they had the correct size in stock in white or black and at a good price. The other little chain hardware store I had stopped at didn't even have the size.”
