I've been to a few vets in town and had either horrible experiences or have been treated with indifference for not using the conventional, expensive, treatments for fleas, ticks, and heartworm prevention. But I've found no judgement here. Nothing but talented, loving, informative, caring vets and friendly competent staff. My dogs love coming here, too! I highly recommend this veterinary practice.

3444 N Main St, RockfordI'm sorry this is so late. Should have done this years ago. I got referred to Animal Clinic of Rockford when my original vet's office got hit by a tornado. I was quite timid at first because my family and I had been going to that vet for over 40 years. I don't trust easy when it came to my Dog.
To say my expectations have been met would be an understatement. Dr. Patel and his team are professionals packed with knowledge, care, and compassion.
For the short time (compared to my last vet) of 4 years I had the privilege of taking my Husky to be cared for by Dr. Patel and his team, I absolutely would not take him anywhere else.
His yearly check up was always filled with going through Oscar's chart and making sure we revisit the concerns from previous visits as well as new concerns if there was any. With all the normal stuff, there was also the in depth stuff. He handled my dog's surgery to remove a lump that was bothering him. Which turned out to be cancer after sending it for testing. The team was very compassionate to my nerve racking approach. I will never forget picking my fur-ball up when he was ready. The moment I walked in, I could hear him howling and talking and knew my boy was alright.
Dr. Patel and his team also handled my Dog's euthanasia. He put my baby boy to rest and peace with the utmost respect, care, and compassion. He was very educating every single step of the process.
I wouldn't put my trust in anyone else.
A message to the team. Oscar loved you guys and gals. Every time I asked him if he wanted to go see the Dr. he went nuts! I will miss the interactions Oscar and I shared with you all. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for the love and compassion you showed Oscar. I hope I can change my mind about not wanting another dog. If I do, you'll be the 1st we visit.

Dr. Jallen was the vet in our latest appointment. He was kind, patient and gentle with my cat. He explained things in plain language so that I understood. He eased my concerns and took time to answer my questions. I highly recommend Bellwood for your pet’s care!

Animal Emergency Clinic of Rockford
7145 Spring Creek Rd, Rockford2/5/26 my family and I had to make the hardest decision to have our dog Lokie euthanized he has been part of our life for 15 years. The staff was very respectful and comforting in that time. When it was time the vet came in and explained what was going to happen and we went ahead with it my family and I we're an emotional wreck but what made this clinic a 5 star for me is the vet cried with us. Then to top it all yesterday we received a card with my boy's nose print and words can't describe how greatful I am about that. Thank you to the vet and all the staff here my family and I greatly appreciate all that you have done

1508 Broadway, RockfordFirst time stopping in yesterday for lunch. Amazing service the owner is awesome. Food was on point tried pastor mulitas highly recommend also grabbed a couple steak tacos. Must say the steak was unique had a very nice seasoning not normally seen at most places pastor was great. Will be trying some other items from the menu will be a regular stop from now on. Also the salsa I think for just red and green nobody else in town has the same flavor cant stress enough check them out did I mention prices 2 tacos 2 mulitas and drink 11$

The food was amazing — everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The portions were generous, and you can tell they care about quality. They also have a great drink and beer selection, so it’s a perfect spot whether you’re going for dinner, drinks, or both.
The service really stood out to me too. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. You can tell why this place has been a Rockford favorite for so long.
Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to!

All of the volunteers and workers here work so hard to make sure the animals are not only taken care of but adopted out to good people. They are very thorough with the adoption process and make sure that each animal has a good, safe, and loving home. I got my sweet ginger cat Papaya from Noah's and am so thankful. Papaya is my baby! <3 Please donate to Noah's, they are a wonderful shelter!
