“I have had the pleasure of visiting 847RC several times over the past month or so and I had to share what a special place the team over there have curated. When I first began my running journey in 2008 there were only proper running stores in Downtown Chicago where I could get a proper fitting for my stride. Those days are so long gone thanks to 847RC! ??♀️Now, I can simply call upon my friends down the street at 847 to help me feel my best while I pound the pavement. I know exactly where to go when I need to get fitted, vent about my tight IT bands, stock up on goo gels, and be a part of a running community that truly treats me like family every time I walk (or run ?) in the door. Not to mention, they carry all the high-performing gear brands at friendly prices for those of us who know that what you wear and how you feel on your runs make all the difference!Whether you’re just getting started on the path or are a seasoned Ultra runner, 847 has your back (and feet!). “Such a great collection and SO helpful. So much personal attention when I needed to pull together an outfit asap for a grad weekend. They helped me find pieces I love and best of all can wear again and again over the summer. They even helped me choose jewelry to complete my outfit. “I had the occasion to be shopping in the Cole Han Outlet Store in Pleasant Prairie today, with my son. We were assisted by the Sales Associate named Christian.
This review is about Christian. I was extremely impressed with how Christian interacted with us, and guided us through the shoes, because my son was looking for a pair of shoes. He showed me where I could find the women’s shoes too, and possessed so much knowledge about the products!
I’ve recruited for a major corporation in my career, where we were recruiting high end Customer Service Representatives. We would occasionally had an applicant who was so special, that we referred to them as a “diamond in the rough”! I found that the demeanor of Christian fits that of a “diamond in the rough”! I was extremely impressed!

“I love shopping here in stores and online but the one thing I hate is the employees that approach me too often. I understand they have to do their job but they overdo it especially during the holidays. Last year I went with my sister and we were both shopping minding our business but tell me why I was approached like 3-4 times by different employees. Back to back the second and third time like bro let me shop in peace. When I get constantly approached like that it makes me think that they think I’m stealing and that makes me uncomfortable. Other than that in the past I’ve found good finds and received good help when I asked for it. I’m still gonna go this year for my holiday shopping but I hope they don’t approach me too often. Also the music is too loud sometimes.”

We had great conversation, she made amazing suggestions and just overall the most friendly customer service I have ever experienced. She is a valuable asset to this store.”
“My fiance found this place to cheer me up as I was feeling down about myself. There were so many beautiful lingerie outfits in here, anything you could want, this is the place! They have a great variety in sizes as well, I was happy to see a lot of stuff in plus size options. One of my new favorite stores now!

“The store manager “brittany ” is absolutely incredible. When I came in for heel pads specially for heels- she knew exactly what i meant and needed. Anytime I’ve stopped in she has always welcomed me in a professional manner. I would recommend this store especially if brittany is working because she never fails me. Thank you brittany.”

“I ordered the same earrings online twice and Both times the color was wrong but the item number was right! I decided to call a loft store near me and spoke with Kylie and later Sue who at first didn’t have the right color in the store but will look in the stock room later. Usually that where it ends because no one ever calls back but they did and found the correct color! This was an exceptional act of kindness!”
“Shopping here at Christmas time and the associate working was super friendly and helpful. Took her time answering questions and suggesting products. She even had an abandoned shopping cart in the store that she offered us to carry ALL of our bags out with. Great experience!”

“I have had a great experience at the Gurnee, IL location! Very clean, organized and very helpful staff with appropriate questions and stellar suggestions.
I’ve been an ER Nurse Practitioner for 24 year, worked 5 years prior to that as an RN. I have been a Locums worker (agency) and traveled throughout the state of Illinois. Trust me when I give this store a high rating. I do this without hesitation.
My only disappointment was they do not carry a better quality shoe. Not a supportive (Dansko or similar) to be found.

“My daughter's school is participating in an End of the Year ABC Countdown and she told me at 7:30pm that the next school day was "Illinois Day." She didn't have anything Illinois related so I hopped in the car and went straight to Lids U. The store was closed so I tried Chicago Locker Room; they did not have Illinois specific apparel. I asked the young man working if he had any other suggestions on where to go but he said that Lids U would be the only place he knew of. I explained my situation just in a sharing way, never expecting him to close his store and allow me access to Lids U for shopping, but that is exactly what he did. He went out of his way, in the last 15 minutes of his work night to let me shop at Lids U so my daughter could participate in Spirit Day. I'll absolutely be back for my sportswear needs!”
