“Came here based Google reviews. My son needed cleats, shin guards and socks. Easy street parking.We went around 12:30pm but it was closed despite the hours saying they were open at noon on Sunday. There were 2 other customers waiting outside and they let us know that someone was on the way to open the store and should be there in 10 minutes. We were relieved so to wait out the time, my son & I went next door and ordered smoothies. When the store opened, we walked in and noticed a great selection of cleats. The sales associate was helpful finding a pair of cleats for my son, but unfortunately they didn’t have his size. We did find shin guards and socks so the trip was worth it. I’ll be back when my son needs more gear.”
“Peak Running in La Grange is a fantastic shoe/running store. I have had a positive experience each of the five times I have shopped in there. None more positive than over the past weekend, with sales associate/Megan.Megan personified what customer service is all about on both days (Saturday; Sunday) I entered Peak Running. On Saturday, she was a major help in exchanging a pair of shoes for a better pair of shoes (at least for I was looking for).The pair of shoes that was coming my way was not to arrive until Sunday. Megan promptly called me when they arrived, and in finishing off her all-world weekend performance, she waited 5-10 minutes past closing time to accede my request, as I was coming from far away. Hence, I was able to get my shoes on Sunday as opposed to Monday.Thanks again, Megan!”

“They are great here, maybe too great! I will explain: I haven't bowled in many years and decided to do it again with my wife. I was a customer over 20 years ago... After getting fitted last week, she was frustrated yesterday with 6 gutters in a row! She swore the ball was too heavy. After meeting with Lynn, he assured her the ball was not too heavy, all she needed was a wrist brace. Luckily I had filmed a few of her frames and showed them to Lynn. He slowed down the video and took time to analyze what she was doing wrong. He took 10 minutes to show her and gave some tips. Bottom line...she ended up beating me! Lol! Great Customer Service!”

Once we got back to Canada, I called to see if there was any way we could have some shipped. The staff kept keeping me posted as to ways to have them sent to Canada. I received many calls from Yorktown. They got a hold of Lucy, at their warehouse, and she quickly set me up with the way to have them shipped to Canada. “If you’re a hockey newbie or event pro, this is the place to go!I signed up to take adult beginner hockey lessons with my partner. Liam helped us for almost two hours helping us get everything you could possible need to play the game while also actively helping us look for the most affordable options so we weren’t breaking the bank. He also helped us understand what the purpose and how to put the gear all on.I’m so glad he was there to be incredibly helpful and now I feel fully prepared to take my first ever hockey class!”

He outfitted my wife and 2 kids 4 years ago and ever since and never had an issue and I’ll go nowhere else. When you are maybe a few miles up, maybe in heavy snow, nobody around, going 5 mph or 50+ mph, you need the right gear and perfectly fit and adjusted. Ski Haus will make sure you’re set.”
