βI love their Jewish salad and the eggplant that is already made in the little containers. The only thing that upsets me... The salads only last up to 2 days then it starts smelling sour.... weird.β
βThey have a good quality meat and so many other products related to so many cultures, nice prices and good service...they have even pots and pans, plates ...you name it...everything with Arabic influence but not only...it's nice to pay a visit ...β
βI was pleasantly surprised at how clean and modern this store is (compared to when it was Hungarian Market.) The staff was helpful and the choices were amazing. The bakery items were delicious. I was also surprised at the number of prepared foods that were available. Who needs to cook?β

The owner is the sweetest man who is extremely kind and helpful. From reading prior reviews I really donβt see any malicious intent from simply guiding people through a store.β

I asked to microwave to warm up my food and Usha front desk lady so kind offered me donut and coffee which i am so grateful for that service not lot of place has this kind of kindness. Feels like home. She offered Indian coffee which i never had before i love it thank you Ushaβ

Employees were nice.
And for Muslim people yes there is halal meat and not-halal meat so you have to ask ,but make sure to ask the employee to change there gloves before touching the halal meat ,because they use the same gloves for all of meat types ,and ask them to use the halal meat machine if you want it in slices.β

βYesterday, January 29, 2026, I stopped by this Aldi in Skokie to buy some fruit and vegetables. The store was clean, organized, and well-stocked.
Although only one register was open, the cashier, Naveen, was very polite, attentive, and efficient. Itβs a pleasure to find Aldi employees with a positive attitude who seem genuinely happy to do their job.
I definitely recommend this Aldi location for its good serviceβespecially thanks to Naveen. Good job!β
βTheir custom cakes are pretty good for the price. (The cake toppers in the picture were not from Walmart or their bakery, I added them later.) Tasted good and was made as ordered & on time.β
βI came here to get a replacement battery for my key fob. My cars dash has been showing me that the key fob had a low battery. I went to Batteries + Bulbs. They told me it would be $18. I have 2 key fobs so that would have been $36 (before tax). That seemed way to excessive so I declined. Today I went to Walmart to see if they had my battery for my key fob a CR 2032. I found a 4 pack of Duracell Batteries for $11.74 (before tax). I'm so glad I thought of going to see if they carried my battery. Not only did I pay 1/3 the amount @ Walmart that Batteries & Bulbs was charging but I have 2 extra batteries for future useβ

βPark ridge is the best location Steve , Mike , Lauren. Our wonderful people to deal with and get your prescription done fast the answer all your questions and even if you need to transfer itβs done same day. They donβt have a medication they give you the location that has it so you can call in and get it They-are, nice, courteous, informative, intelligent about the prescriptions . Your service is so fast. Itβs better than going to the Big Chains .
When you call, youβre not on the phone for two hours waiting to get your questions answered they answer right away.β
βFirst, I bought a gas tank so I could fill it with liquid I'll laxatives so I could chug it with the creepy guys from the hood cheering me on. Second, I bought a 200 pack of adult diapers (so I wouldn't have to keep swiping my Mommy's credit card to buy MILLIONS OF PACKS OF UNDERWEAR) and put 'em on 1by1. Third, I bought a TV, a Switch 2, 5 Switch / Switch 2 games, a weeks worth of junk food and finally a $100,000 Doordash gift card. 10/10β

βI like this Jewel. It has an odd layout and a little crowded, but has the groceries you need. The service was a bit delayed. But they helped us out efficiently, eventually.β
βFor over two years now, when I ask my two teenagers what grocery store do they want to purchase groceries,, they always say Mariano's (specifically on Touhy in Chicago).
This store layout is smart and easy to navigate and the aisles are well spaced.
Personally. I like the great variety of items that Mariano's offers. I always find something new to try and my teenagers are expanding their palates as well.
Another thing, the store provides really good savings. On average, I experience $15 - $25.
Lastly, the cherry on top is the very helpful staff and our checkout experience.
Every single cashier is awesome! They are always efficient, cheery and fun no matter how full my cart is.β
