I first took it to the original retailer, and they told me that since I only had the extended warranty and not accidental coverage, my only option was to send it to Apple for repair at an estimated cost of around $1,900. That was obviously not what I wanted to hear.

I then brought my laptop to CPR and worked with Edgar, and I’m very glad I did. He quickly diagnosed the problem and found corrosion where the power button connects to the motherboard. He explained everything clearly and was honest about the repair. Edgar fixed the issue for a fraction of the cost and my MacBook works perfectly now. Professional, knowledgeable, and fair pricing. And though outside her designated job — this is a phone store — she discussed my AT&T internet/tv bill when I grumbled about it, told me how to reduce it, and saved that deal.

I felt silly to have made assumptions about her age. Halima was great — customer focused and a real pro.”

I have 2 key fobs so that would have been $36 (before tax). That seemed way to excessive so I declined. Today I went to Walmart to see if they had my battery for my key fob a CR 2032. I found a 4 pack of Duracell Batteries for $11.74 (before tax). I'm so glad I thought of going to see if they carried my battery.
