“Great!! ALDI to shop in Tinley Park. I had a unpleasant situation about to 1 months ago. When I was going through self checkout and I was unaware I did not scan 3 of my items. Because I was on my cellphone and not paying attention. The cashier alerts the manager. And she a walks over to me and accused me of stealing. And stated she could call the police on me. I took $1,000.00 in cash out of me pocket. And told her I don't have to steal. Think you have a misunderstanding. I could have left the store and bought nothing. And called Corporate. But i didn't because you have to allow people to see that they were wrong about judging you. I paid for the item anyway. And left but I feel because I was African American she prematurely judged me because of the color of my skin.So I came back to visit the store again on June 1st. The situation happened May 1st. And this same manager was doing a online order and she was shopping for the items. I stop and asked her where was an item. I was looking for just so she could see my face again. To let her see that because you misunderstood. What happened that day. I'm going to allow you to see every person of color are not stealing. Expleacially not a ALDI. We as a people should not judge any culture according to the race or skin color. It's call being racist. Would i continue to shop there yes because I am a citizen of this country and I do not steal. Im a Home owner and a good person. I am still going to give the store a 5 star rate because the store itself shouldn't have to pay for a racist manager. The food is fresh and good quality. And you don't get that a every ALDI store so that is why some people go a little out of their way to visit another store. Thank you and i hope that my review express my disappointment in her actions. Not the store itself.”

“I shop at Jewels for many years and they products are great. I now shop online and the Service is still great. I decided to start getting my meds also with such great products and Customer Service. I received great and excellent Service from Ashley in the Pharmacy she delivered my meds herself to make sure I received it on time I was almost out. Thanks and appreciated the Pharmacy at Jewels at Harlem Ave. Also Ashley is great and caring!!!”

“The owner of this place is sooo amazing and she did food for my baby shower and all I can say is woooow mashallah her food is amazing ppl say 10 out of 10 I say 100 out of 10 that's how good it is you guys need to try her food you won't regret it I promise.. ? ? And the owner is another story she is amazing very good and nice with people and very patient and if you have any questions for suggestions of food or anything about the products she sells she will answer for you, she knows how to work and works very hard.. and the guys that work for her are also so sweet and nice ilthey help you out a lot by taking your bags to your car very very sweet of them.. I recommend them 100% and I promise if you go by them once you will go there forever ... thank you so much for everything you guys do. And there store is always clean and there bread is always fresh and the prices are good.. the owner puts her love and support on everything she does and thats what makes her place number 1 ❤️ ?”

“The store it self is a great place to shop, But they have a big problem with their self checkout employee. Susan has stood over the customers touching their food and watching you as though you are stealing she does it to every customer. And it's make you feel uncomfortable. I'm not sure if management are aware. Of this kind of behavior with Susan; but I am very irritated with Susan she needs correctional action. No one should feel uncomfortable at self checkout. And you are not a front line cashier. You shouldn't be touching the customer food. I don't like it it's like Susan's harassing you in self checkout. Management please deal with the issue with Susan. Before you start loosing more business at this location. Because I will continue to do bad reviews to the public until corrective action is taken on Susan. Overall the other employees are wonderful and professional.”
