“I love this location even though I don't live in Lake Bluff. It's on the way to my workplace, which is very convenient for me. It's a small facility, bright, and it feels easy to get in and feel safe. Service personnel are friendly and knowledgeable; the process is fast, and waiting time is usually very short.”
“By far, this is the most helpful, friendly, and well organized post office I have ever lived near. They routinely go out of their way to help you mail a package (even when you don't have the right tape or box), choose the correct shipping class and even will run out to the truck to retrieve your mother in law's Easter package because Yours Truly forgot to put her room # on the address. It is a jewel of a post office and I hope it stays open for a long long time.”

“I don’t think amazing is a strong enough adjective to describe the lake county Haven. Before the pandemic hit I entered the program and unfortunately they had to close down but they still made sure that all the residents were safe and put them up in a secure location. There isn’t enough time to list all of the resources they provide and not to mention all of the love and care that each and every person that works there shows to every Single client. This place is beyond amazing and I am currently going through a rough patch and I’m trying to get back in because I know this is the place that can get me on the right path. Kudos to you late county Haven because you are truly an amazing program!”

“This USPO location in Schaumburg (behind Capital Grille) is a shining example of how a post office SHOULD work! Compared to the one on Schaumburg Rd. where every employee there is miserable and spreads the same misery to all the customers.
It’s a night and day difference. My recommendation is for you to drive the extra mile and go to this location for service. Yes, there was a little wait but the service is exceptional. I’ll be going there for my postal needs from now on!”

“We're midway between Lake Zurich and Mundelein but we almost always go to Mundelein because we feel the service is better and we don't have confidence in the Lake Zurich office. We lived in Long Grove for 25 years and weren't impressed with the lake Zurich branch, we are much happier with Mundelein and especially our delivery guy Andrew.”
“Over the years I have always received amazing help from this annex. The people I speak with are always patient and do their absolute best to help me out. Due to my own error, I put the wrong address on a package and Ebony has been tremendously helpful in locating the package. Ebony always picks up the phone and works tirelessly to make sure we all get our mail correctly. I am very grateful for all the hard work that Ebony and the entire team at this annex does!”

“This post office is my favorite, as long as you go through the week. If you go on saturday you will have opposite experience. The lady that works on the weekend does anything she can to do as little as possible. Through the week the employees are so nice and make sure to put the tracking, shipping labels and or postage on my packages themselves ensuring it is done right, weekend lady makes you figure it out and then gets rude when it isnt how she says its supposed to be and says cant be sent that way. I even watched her make a woman black out and rewrite the address because it was "upside down" as if they keep your packages neatly stacked and dont just throw them around. Im pretty sure on that rare occasion they need to turn or flip a box to read address ?? will never visit on a saturday again if i can avoid it.”

“I understand that people can get a little crazy at the post office, but our experience getting passports was very smooth and seamless!
Our family of 4 got it all done in less than an hour and the young lady doing the paperwork and taking the pictures was very nice and helpful. Again everyone's experience will vary and at such a busy place, but can't complain!”
“I want to share my experienced with the customer service at Arlington Heights . On August 17 , 2026 we were at this facility for our passport renewal . It was a stellar service, friendly , accommodating and took time to review our application form . I want to thank you , the one who took the time to send to me my check book that , I unknowingly left at the counter . Yes , I recd the fedex with my check book intact and I am so grateful , thankful for your honesty and time to send this to me for I did not even know that I left it in the post office counter . “1:50 Saturday afternoon Sent a package and the clerk was patient with me and very helpful. In and out, including buying a mailer, packing it and addressing it, in about 6 minutes. Other customers seemed happy too.”
“I recently needed to set up a PO Box and visited this post office. The paperwork seemed a bit confusing at first, but the manager, David, was absolutely wonderful. “I had a tricky situation with a looping package (due to an error in reading multiple labels, a fault of my own). I was concerned I might need to claim it as a loss but Mr. Paige deduced the problem, tracked its every whereabout, the exact problem, and had it tracked directly to the post office. “I had a great experience recently at the Morton Grove Post Office (June 2024). In order to officially change my mail forwarding address due to a move, I needed to go into the Post Office to confirm my identity, old mailing address, and new mailing address. Al at the front desk was great. He explained the process thoroughly and what I needed to complete it. He was also EXTREMELY patient when I was attempting to shuffle though my email looking for my leases and an email from USPS that I needed. I really appreciate how helpful and calm he was during the whole process and it was very seamless. Thanks Al!!!”
“Mail pickup at the outside drive-thru drop box is at 6:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Wish I could add this information to the hours, or services but Google has no capability for me to do so.”
