“The only post office location I'll use. I'll drive out of my way to use this location over the others in my area. The staff is super friendly and professional. All others pale in comparison.”
“My wife and I went to have our passports done at the prospect post office and Tina was absolutely amazing. She was ready for us 15 minutes before our scheduled time, was extremely personable, and helped us get everything done while answering any questions we had.
We decided to visit the prospect office after having terrible experience trying to get a passport at the Middletown post office.
The level of customer service we received at the prospect post office greatly exceeded our expectations.
Tina, you were a delight to work with and made everything so easy! Thank you!”
“The ladies in here were exceptional!! They went above and beyond to make sure the legal documents I needed to mail were taken care of. Helen, is the goat!! Her kindness is unmatched. There is much better service than the post office on W Broadway. This will be my post office going forward, I will pass all the ones I live near to get here.”
“Dixon was beyond helpful and welcoming with making a return for an online purchase. The ladies in this USPS are always a pleasure to be helped by. Very much appreciated”
“Postal workers are unsung heroes. Literally every time I’m in here, someone is giving the person at the counter a hard time about something they’re unhappy about (something that is NOT the fault of the counter person), and the counter person is ALWAYS gracious, kind and patient. I would hate to have their job, and I’m so grateful they’re willing to do it. Thank you to everyone who works here at the Cherokee Branch?”
“It was very busy, but the lady working at the desk was very friendly and efficient! It took us awhile to find (it’s in the back of the hardware store), but everything else was a breeze!”
“They get 4 stars just for answering the phone, being polite and courteous, and HELPFUL, which is in stark contrast, completely opposite really, of the nearby New Albany branch, which will simply put you on hold for 5 minutes and then hang up, if they answer the phone at all. If I have outgoing mail of particular importance I always drive to this PO to drop it off, to make sure that it doesn't route thru the New Albany PO.”
“I ordered an expensive wallet for my son for Christmas. When tracking it, I noticed it stayed in Louisville's post office for two days and didn't move. I was worried that since it was a small package, it might have gotten lost in the millions of other packages. I called the USPS which led me through a very straight forward automated experience to file an inquiry. Within the hour a nice lady called me and said she was sure the package wasn't lost and that the USPS is literally working around the clock to be sure packages arrived on time for Christmas. She didn't make me feel obnoxious for filing an inquiry during Christmas time like she could have. Not only that, but she was right. The wallet got delivered within the next few days AND she called me to make sure I received it at 1:10pm when it was delivered. A lot of times the USPS does not receive the credit they're due. They work hard and I can't imagine the chaos they have to endure during the holidays (and all other times of year).. I was extremely impressed with the process and I appreciated the extra step that was taken to make sure I received what I paid for.”
“I had a delayed / missing package that was supposed to be 2-day. Not sure her name, but a lady at this office (maybe Robin?) not only reached out to where it was last scanned, but followed up with me and went above and beyond to help me track down an important Christmas package. And to top it off, she was so kind and made the experience so much better!!!Now that is amazing customer service. Thank you!”
“My wife and I went in to apply for a passport and Milissa was great. Fully explained everything, did our photos, we signed and paid - all done in under half an hour. She even told us what to expect in the three mailings we’ll each receive and approximately when they’ll come.”
“It’s in “4th St Live” across from The Fudgery and Locos. It’s closer to Chipotle on 4th St than CVS. It’s inside the UBS bank building straight ahead in the lobby.”
“I had a really good experience here. There was no line and the employee was friendly and helped me choose the best method for shipping my package. He even used his own tape… Usually, I have to buy an overpriced roll if I forget to bring some. I was nervous because the only other reviews here didn’t seem promising.”
“This post office is hard to handle. You will be suprised at how much is management's fault as the mailmen are failing them constantly. They can do with a good hiring process instead of what?”
“Person was extremely helpful over the phone with helping set up a redelivery for a package I missed (I wasn't informed by the seller I would need to sign for it). And the delivery driver dropped it off the next day with no issues.”
“This self-service station is everything!
Super quick and easy to print out a label and get the return label on my package. Staff was very helpful when I went in to make sure that I had everything I needed to ship my package.
Not busy at all for 11:30 AM on a Saturday. Will definitely come back to this location for all my USPS needs.”
“I needed to stop at a location to verify my identity in person for a change of address (which I got an email that it was denied, despite me having a state issued ID), but the person at the Broadway location was super efficient and I was in and out in under 5 minutes. I would use this location again if I'm in that area.”
“The postal lady I spoke to on the phone was very knowledgeable and helped to meet with every need I had. I would recommend this service to all my family friends and neighbors And she was very polite and understood my needs.”
“I didn't go in. I'm hoping to use a P. O. Box, if I can afford it. The location is convenient for working in the area. The library is close enough to visit, too.”
“I really appreciate the job the clerks do. (Carriers, too.) Working for the USPS and with the public is stressful. (That's why it's called, going postal.) Anyway, over the years, I've learned to steer clear of the place on Saturdays or whenever else there'll be long lines. Kind of glad to see negative reviews here. Maybe these people will stay away!PS: An update. The hours here have become VERY spotty. Very unpredictable. If I had to do it over again, I'd rent a box at a more reliable branch.”
“Great people working here. They're always friendly and out of over 300 packages they've never lost one. They helped me send a package to Saudi Arabia and it actually went.”
“Im not sure why there are so many negative reviews for this location. This location has extremely long hours and typically atleast 2 if not 3 registers open. I use this location quite often and never had an issue. The clerks are nice. Honestly its the costumers that are likely the problem. Not ready, not sure what to do.”
“I've had nothing but good experiences with this post office. Are there lines sometimes? Sure. They move quickly, and the counter personnel are very accommodating and helpful. We just had a big snowstorm, and I saw the carrier stopping and getting out of the vehicle to reach mailboxes in the nearby neighborhood. They aren't required to scale mounds of snow and ice, but they did. Kudos and thank you for the extra effort.”
