Went here hoping to grab some cash for a local store that only accepts cash, this bank has no ATM, and according to an employee only their downtown Indy location has one (around here.) “So, they have a checking account that has a 3% yield (as I'm typing this) without any requirements for you to use a debit card 20 times a month or something like that other credit unions do. That is better than pretty much anyplace else, unless you use a debit card for all your purchases.I went by on a Saturday morning to open a checking account. The banker had 2 other people waiting and I didn't want to hang around that long, so I planned to come back. Before then I talked to my current bank and they came up with a special rate that made it a better deal not to switch.You probably wouldn't notice the place driving by, but the people were very helpful and the inside of the CU was very nicely done -- I don't know if it was a new location or just recently remodeled. I can't speak to service beyond my brief experience.”

“I recently came into this chase location because I had received a letter from Chase corporate explaining that my identity may have been stolen. It was related to a credit card application I recently filled out.
One of their agents spent about 30 minutes on the phone with three different operators until he resolved the problem. They really went above and beyond to get all my concerns and my application squared away.”
“I did the neighborhood impact program. As the other person mentioned it’s a bunch of paperwork they’re asking for. But you are asking for 7500-10000$ in free money, what would you expect? I got my paperwork in and got a 10k roof paid for quickly and without problems.”
“Our Star Bank branch manager and one of his bankers provided personalized attention and facilitated the moviing of some of our money to a relationship CD which will bear 5%. There was no “hard sell”, but just a prompt we knew we needed but had been putting off b/c of a busy schedule. They made it easy and convenient thanks to Docusign. It’s nice to have a local bank staffed by people who care for their customers.”

“The 56th St. branch near Post Rd. has always been helpful and friendly. Dusti, the current branch manager, is the best. I was having a credit card issue while trying to purchase a round trip ticket that included a foreign airline. A simple phone call to Kim increased my debit card limit for the day and allowed me to buy the last seat on the flight I needed. And then, in about 10 minutes, Dusti had me approved for a credit card from Star to prevent this problem from happening in the future. And, as always, they have tellers available until 7pm Monday-Saturday. Absolutely convenient.”
