“This is my go to for every need they always take such good care of me. I have bought yard tools, nuts and bolts, all the way to what many know them for glass fitting. I will always drive out of my way to support this business.”
“Sullivan's Garden Center is one of my favorite places to shop for plants! They always have a wonderful selection of healthy, beautiful plants, and I can always find something special to bring home. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to help with recommendations. Whether you're an experienced gardener or just getting started, Sullivan's is a fantastic place to visit. Highly recommend!”
“I had two saw chains sharpened here while I waited. The chains I use are hard to get. I'll be here more for this service. Friendly staff. A DIY oasis in a less than affluent neighborhood.”
“I went to this location and was doing an exchange of my tumbler and the sales associate was a bit confused and unfortunately did the transaction incorrectly. I called and made them aware of the error and Kelly was gracious and apologized and said to come back and she would fix the error. It was a bit away from my home so I choose today to go back. I called to make sure that she was there and to explain that I was coming and encountered the manager and he was so awesome and took care of my issue over the phone and I did not have to return. I am so appreciative of this service, being in the retail field myself, I understand that errors happen, but when they go above and beyond is truly a blessing! Thank you Don! You made a customer very happy and a return one for sure!!!”
“Sullivan's Hardware and Garden is my go-to place for garden supplies and plants. They have a great selection, and I consistently find that their plants are healthier and better cared for than the ones at the big box garden centers. On top of that, the prices are often cheaper, which makes it an easy choice for my gardening needs.
The staff is knowledgeable and helpful, and it's nice to shop at a local store that focuses on quality. Whether I'm looking for plants, gardening tools, or supplies, Sullivan's usually has what I need. Overall, it's a reliable place with great value and a much better gardening experience than the larger chain stores.”
“The employees were so nice and were very friendly! One guy took the pellets to the register then carried them all the way to my car for me and the other employees gave me some ideas on how to use some new bbq sauce”

“Adam was extremely helpful with my screws dilemma good to have knowledgeable people working here to guild me when I don't know what I'm looking for👍”
“Cheri at the register is so welcoming and nice! Cliff in the paint department helped me out as well and helped me get a discount! Ask him about the worst paint spill incident that happened in the parking lot! Lovely place”
“I just went to this place. The man who helped me was helpful, for me, I wasn't exactly sure what I needed but the man helped. Good suggestion and even polite jokes. Friendly. The lady up front was very sweet. We shared a joke about how us men like hardware stores. ??.. Over all, I do recommend this place to shop. Nice people, polite and friendly. Ideal place to go if your not sure...”

“Rockler is a great spot for woodworking enthusiasts of all levels. There is some top-tier equipment available for just about any project. They also offer (paid) classes for learners. I took a pen making class that helped a ton.
The wood selection is pretty good, and keep an eye out for sales if you aren't set on any type.
The staff are super knowledgeable, so don't hesitate to ask if you need advice.
The downside of Rockler is the prices. It's hard to get into a hobby when the tools cost so much. Personally, I like getting cheaper tools at Harbor Freight to see if I'll use it enough to warrant a more expensive one later. Also, I kind of dread going to the register to hear the weekly sales pitch for whatever is on the counter.”
“This Ace Hardware could be much improved.
I don't like to say that bad things about businesses or people but let me give you an example of something that just happened.
I burn a Blue rhino propane tank for a propane heater in my house every time I go to fill it up it takes 3.5 gallons of propane.
Never has it ever taken 5 gallons of propane so on my visit tonight to bengies Ace hardware.
I was sold 5 gallons of propane in a tank that only takes 3.5 gallons it is a 15 lb blue rhino tank same tank that you use on a barbecue grill same tank that they use as exchange tanks they don't take 5 gallons of propane but I was sold 5 gallons of propane at $4.20 a gallon so basically I was overcharged for a gallon and a half of propane.
I I paid the bill and left okay I should have filled my tank at U-Haul for $3.50 a tank a gallon and nothing like this would have happened okay but since I got busy I I put it off until the last minute they were the only ones open and honestly it was the same price as making an exchange for another tank from somewhere else so you know lesson learned don't take your tank to benges Ace hardware. To get your tank refilled.
I I was being nice and giving them the opportunity to make up for a shortcoming about 3 weeks prior to that when I had stopped to get the propane tank filled and I sat out by the refill station for 35 to 40 minutes and no one ever showed up to refill the tank and so I had just left and”
“I had my master bathroom remodeled in 2025. Donnie at Kohler walked me through the entire process and helped me pick out tub, tile, sinks, faucets, shower heads, shower enclosure. Mark Groce of Groce Construction put it all together and was an absolute joy to work with. I would highly recommend both Donnie and Mark.”
“I cannot express my gratitude enough for Central Supply Company, but most specifically for Jacob P. who works there. My wife and I had our hot water tank end on us after two years, and Jacob did everything in his power to help us. Prior to talking with him, we been on the phone for 6 hours with other people trying to find a solution, but he was the first that seemed to truly want to support and help us with our replacement, working beyond what might be expected. He worked with us with kindness, patience, and education, taking time to validate everything and to ensure we felt comfortable with plans moving forward. He stayed late to help knowing how difficult a situation we were in. If everyone at Central Supply Company is as amazing as Jacob is, I cannot recommend it enough - I've never had such amazing service and support and truly appreciate everything!”
“It's a Harbor Freight, not much else to say. This one is in a little sketchy of an area, so you can get some weird people around, but it's never been that big of an issue”
“Harbor Freight has a great variety of products for someone who is retrofitting vintage furniture to the family that is moving and needs furniture pads or blankets. I love their coupon sales and today purchased 5 heavy tarps, super glue and magnetic hooks. Awesomeness 😍”
“Agree with other’s positive comments. Greg, Judy, and the team make this an exceptional shopping experience. Why spend 2x when you can get the same or even better quality at HFT.”
“I have gone here 4 times now to source odd ball stuff for work. All the guys are very helpful and knowledgeable. I have even had to go back to swap things out and they are very helpful. One time was even for no additional charge when I know there should have been one. Thank you! Keep it up!”
“This is where you go when you need to talk to employees who know what they're talking about! I'll be going here more often now that I know they're open on Sundays!”
“Excellent service. We are remodeling our home and they were recommended to us by our countertop maker for cabinet draw pulls. The time they spent with us to make sure we got exactly what we wanted was impressive. We didn’t feel rushed or pressured to make a decision. We did end up ordering what we wanted and saved about $3 per pull and had them within a week.
We greatly appreciate the time and excellent customer service!”
“As far as I’m concerned, the customer service at Utterback Supply is top-notch!! Bring them your odd bolt, clamp, hardware, etc. if they don’t have it. They’ll be able to direct you to someone that will have it in the city. In this case I had to bring a firearm so we could get the precise bolt/nut required!”
“I stopped in to make a copy of a house key. The staff was super friendly and helped me with the key right away. The whole store looked very organized and clean and I was in and out in no time.”
“I have been doing business with Hoosier Tools since the inception of this business. I can tell you without a doubt, their service, attention to detail and care of their rental equipment is Beyond any other rental service in the industry. Steve, Tim, Tom and the countless members of their team are beyond what it means to be an A Plus team. As a general contractor, I rely on multiple partnerships and I have “partnered” with multiple tool rental companies over the course of 44 years. My loyalty lies with Hoosier Tools! It has been earned by the merit of there of there excellent standards!.”
“Nice clean hardware store. Above the rim. Found what I was looking for. Using the app to make sure the item was stocked in store helps. Plenty of parking ADA accessible in front and side of store.”
“This business and it's team go above and beyond to help. Even when it has nothing to do with the business. The employees all seemed happy to be there and took time out of their busy day to offer us a place to cool off when our vehicle was disabled in their parking lot. Very much appreciated.”
“Great friendly and knowledgeable staff! Answered all my questions and made sure I knew what I was doing before I left. Gained a lifetime customer from an easy 15 min conversation.”
“Honest and trustworthy. They picked up my riding lawn mower and got it running again. I'm grateful I didn't have to try to take it to them for service. Thank you”
“I’m not from the Midwest but I had heard about Menard’s and wanted to check it out. Menard’s completely exceeded my expectations. High quality products, great selection and reasonably priced. There were so many hard to find items like full size pool noodles and specialty seed starting items. They even had greeting cards which is such a smart idea! Please come to North Carolina!”

“The best feed and seed store for over 100 miles. They have everything. I get stuff in bulk here that I can't find anywhere else in the state or even neighboring states. Great process too!”
