“December 2025 update: I still love it here. I think the people are fantastically friendly and a lot of times you get what you give. They are human treat them as such and be kind. The people I have worked with there at the counter have endured a lot. I find them all to be consistently kind and helpful; doing their best to communicate to everyone fairly and evenly on what can be done and what cannot. Everyone struggles at times and it seems like since the pandemic, people have forgotten that good basic manners go a very long way- this applies mainly to those waiting. We need to remember that people are powering this office still, and they do a grand job of it- I have had nothing but good things to say about them all for about 20 years- especially Gillian, Melinda, Nae, and even my route carrier Vincent- too kind!”

“The only post office location I'll use. I'll drive out of my way to use this location over the others in my area. The staff is super friendly and professional. All others pale in comparison.”

“My wife and I went in to apply for a passport and Milissa was great. Fully explained everything, did our photos, we signed and paid - all done in under half an hour. She even told us what to expect in the three mailings we’ll each receive and approximately when they’ll come.”

“Just used this location for the first time. The gentleman on duty on Saturday morning was great.
Super friendly, smiling, happy to answer any questions and efficient! Would come back to this location again.”

“They get 4 stars just for answering the phone, being polite and courteous, and HELPFUL, which is in stark contrast, completely opposite really, of the nearby New Albany branch, which will simply put you on hold for 5 minutes and then hang up, if they answer the phone at all. If I have outgoing mail of particular importance I always drive to this PO to drop it off, to make sure that it doesn't route thru the New Albany PO.”

“super nice & helpful staff! I came in after their walk-ins for passports ended thinking I had an appointment but unfortunately I did not. Despite this, the staff wasted no time allowing me to fill out an application and getting my application completed snd my picture taken very quickly! Wendy & Chapel were especially helpful, being very caring, polite, and helpful in answering any questions I had. I recommend this location to anyone needing passport services (but make an appointment if you can)”

“It was very busy, but the lady working at the desk was very friendly and efficient! It took us awhile to find (it’s in the back of the hardware store), but everything else was a breeze!”

“I had a shipper mislabel two packages and the entire staff here went above and beyond to find them for me! I cannot thank them enough for all their help and they did it with a smile. Honestly the BEST USPS workers, I cannot say enough nice things.”

“I had a really good experience here. There was no line and the employee was friendly and helped me choose the best method for shipping my package. He even used his own tape… Usually, I have to buy an overpriced roll if I forget to bring some. I was nervous because the only other reviews here didn’t seem promising.”

“It’s in “4th St Live” across from The Fudgery and Locos. It’s closer to Chipotle on 4th St than CVS. It’s inside the UBS bank building straight ahead in the lobby.”

“This post office is hard to handle. You will be suprised at how much is management's fault as the mailmen are failing them constantly. They can do with a good hiring process instead of what?”

“Dang people, tough crowd around here or what? I use this location all the time and no issues! In and out every time. Very friendly as well. Keep up the good work! I have another out going so I'll see you all soon.”

“I had a problem with my package tracking and Cindy was amazing and very knowledgeable. She helped me along with several of the other associates in the mail room with tracking and looking at pictures. They went above and beyond great service all around. i’ve come here for years and the attendants are always very nice and helpful. I’ve never experienced in anything other than the best.”

“I will say I've had my share of problems with the fill in mailmen. My usual guy was pretty good. Today I met a new young mailman on my route and he was so friendly and extremely polite. I am on Illinois avenue near the hospital. If we could only have more employees like him. I hope he gets a raise for his quality service.”

“Although the hours are a little more restricted than a larger post office branch, this little branch is absolutely amazing. My packages get scanned immediately, there is never a line, and the staff is very nice.”

“I needed to stop at a location to verify my identity in person for a change of address (which I got an email that it was denied, despite me having a state issued ID), but the person at the Broadway location was super efficient and I was in and out in under 5 minutes. I would use this location again if I'm in that area.”

“I really appreciate the job the clerks do. (Carriers, too.) Working for the USPS and with the public is stressful. (That's why it's called, going postal.) Anyway, over the years, I've learned to steer clear of the place on Saturdays or whenever else there'll be long lines. Kind of glad to see negative reviews here. Maybe these people will stay away!PS: An update. The hours here have become VERY spotty. Very unpredictable. If I had to do it over again, I'd rent a box at a more reliable branch.”
