“I encountered a problem with one of my accounts yesterday. I utilized the 800 number for all bank branches. The call center was off shore. It was difficult to comprehend & discuss the purpose of my call due to the language barrier of tge responding representative.
Overwhelmed with frustration and no explanation as how my issue would be resolved or why the issue occurred; I phoned the Merrillville, IN branch @ 77th & Broadway.
Spoke to an associate banker, Tia T. She was empathetic , extremely considerate and sought the assistance of Renee P. a retail relationship banker. I was informed I should come to their location so they could determine how the issue occurred and resolve my concerns.
When I arrived at the branch, these two ladies teamed up and immediately began to work on the issue. Both ladies worked together to quickly research & resolve the issue involving my account. The customer service extended was genuine, apologetic, professional not to mention respectful.
I left the bank branch with my issues resolved. My stress level was alleviated. I felt grateful that I chose to remain a customer through the acquisitions this banking institution encountered. I've banked at this banking institution well over 35 years & began banking when this bank was know as Mercantile Bank.

“New debit card again bc scammers have been after me since June 2025. Yesterday they called and it came up as ONB with their customer service # Let that sink in. I have been told this is happening with scammers who use a server so they can change the number to ONB. I believe they are calling me from a foreign country. They are looking for nice ppl who think it is the bank & they want your last 8 digits of your debit card due to someone trying to use my card somewhere. FAKE hang up call your bank/block#/change login/password/NEVER GIVE OUT YOUR INFO Thank You OLD NATIONAL for all your help & guidance”
