“The surrounding area is a little rough. The service was outstanding! I was passing through town and needed a fill up. The gas was reasonably priced. There was a customer service appreciation going on. I got free chicken and potato wedges. Both were fresh made and very good. I was running late and this surprised me in a time when I see gas prices varying by almost a dollar a gallon within a 70 mile radius. Wanted to take a minute and say Thanks! I was greeted with a smile and treated well. Im a travel nurse and it made me smile after a long hard day. Very nice people there!”

She apologized profusely and said please take some ice out of the soda area where I could get some ice. She was very nice and accommodating and her customer service skills was top notch! “It’s nice having family express up here in our neck of the woods we call NWI. The stores are all for the most part clean (on their worst days still cleaner than the average gas station.. bleh!). We go in here a few times a month for a fountain drink and cups and lids are always in stock and the dispenser looks rather clean, not sticky and like they actually take pride in their work. Shocker in 2023! Their pumps always seem to work well and not glitch out or anything. Windshield washer fluid and squeegee always filled and in good condition. Pumps appear clean and not overrun by cobwebs and garbage. Well managed facilities. Clean bathrooms!”

“Good gas station. Parking can be a bit tricky sometimes and could use more pumps, but it is a small lot. Some customer physically broke the free air pump, but that's not the gas stations fault. Inside is clean, sometimes a small line but goes quickly. Staff has been nice and polite.”

“This is a very nice neighborhood gas station and little Mart. What makes it nice is the gentleman and his family that run it, they are very friendly and pleasant to do business with. The location is very convenient to get in and out of. It's always our first choice for gas and quick items like a can of pop, candy, milk or other things we run out of and don't want to trudge all the way into town for. Great place that adds to why we love our home town!”
