“This is my Favorite family Express.
They always have lots of candy and soda. It's kept very clean. The bathrooms are very clean. The floores are spotless and and the staff is extremely nice. AND the atm machine is never out of service. I always go in in the evening after work. And there's this one girl who is always doing something sweeping cleaning. Wiping down the soda machines stocking the coolers, she's always working hard and in a good mood. These folks work really hard. I

“The staff here are generally friendly and always helpful. They always seem busy but willing to help regardless. I wish they had a greater variety of icee flavors but otherwise it's a good selection of gas station typed things. We like their donuts and muffins as well.”

“Overall, this is a nice place to do business at. The staff is usually very friendly and helpful (especially the Owner/Manager!), and you can tell that your business is appreciated here. The store is conveniently located next to the Town & Country market, and I like the fact that getting in and out of the lot is pretty easy compared to other gas stations. Fuel pricing is always competitive here as well. The store is usually very clean, organized, and features a good selection of common convenience store items (soda, chips, cigarettes, etc.). A restroom is also available for customer use, and is always very clean. My only complaint about this location is the pricing of grocery items inside the store. Cigarettes, beverages from the cooler, and grocery items are noticeably more expensive than at competitor's stores (ie: Speedway). However, the friendliness of the staff and this store's location usually offset my pricing concerns. I guess I'd rather pay a little extra for quality service whenever possible. Again, this BP is a nice place to do business at, and I do recommend stopping by.”
“Ordered Barbecue Chicken Pizza... .WOW!! Delicious!! Loaded with white meat chicken. Bacon, onions, and just the right amount of bbq sause!! Oh ya lots of cheese too, for a gas station I couldn't believe my luck...I found my pizza place!!”

“Had to stay in the lobby of the old KFC from 10pm to 4am a few nights ago.....fighting with bf and I wanted to be safe. The woman was kind enough to let me stay it was pouring down rain for hours. I wish there were more kind people during the abandonment moments because it happens a lot during our out of town trips. If I could move a bed there I would finish my stay in Valparaiso there. I had an interview the next morning there also that was sabotaged so I missed. Would have loved to work there!”

“i never have had a bad experience with CVS other than them being out of a medication that i needed......but there was a "shortage" and it wasnt their fault and they quickly helped resolve the situation.......their ability totext and let you know when you have a script ready for refill and to pick uphas really improvedmy only complaint is the app its..... trash ! its supposed to be fast and convenient but unfortunately its nottoo many times ive just had to call myprescription in and thats even more of an headache ........otherwise they would have gotten 5 stars”
“Certainly a convenient place to go since they're all over. Gas prices are comparable and you get 5 cents off if you're a member. It adds up. The car wash is good but not great. The back of my car never seems to get properly cleaned.”
“After his surgery, my son’s prescription was sent to Walgreens and when I arrived, turns out my insurance didn’t cover fulfillment through Walgreens. It was going to cost me almost $200 for two prescriptions. Walgreens told me to transfer it to CVS. I called CVS and they informed me that it usually takes 48 hrs to transfer a prescription. I explained that I needed the prescription that night. They said they’d do their best. I called the doctor’s office to have them send the prescription to CVS. A few hours later I decided to stop in CVS before paying out of pocket at Walgreens. CVS didn’t have my son’s prescription so I started to leave. The pharmacist manager, Jamie, heard my son’s name and explained to me that it usually takes 48 hrs but she would call and have the prescription faxed to her. She was able to fill both prescriptions and save me over $150!! Thank you so much for going above and beyond!”
“I normally pass through Luke’s Car Wash in Valparaiso whenever I need a quick clean, but my most recent visit stood out thanks to one attendant who truly elevated the experience. While I can’t speak to the overall consistency of the place, this time I encountered someone who genuinely cared about the small things—and it made all the difference.
From the moment I pulled in, the attendant greeted me warmly and wasn’t in a rush. Before guiding me into the wash, they carefully inspected the car’s exterior—checking for mud clumps in wheel wells, drying streaks, and even sneaky bits of grit. After the wash, they hand-wiped the mirrors and door frames, making sure no soap residue remained. They even applied extra attention to spots that cars often miss, like the lower rocker panels and the seams between body panels.
It’s rare to see someone at a chain wash take this kind of care. Their thoughtful, methodical approach did a fantastic job—my car looked genuinely clean, not just “good enough.” I appreciate how detail-oriented they were, and it’s the kind of service I wish more places offered. I’ll definitely be looking for that same caliber of attentiveness next time I stop by.”

“desperately wish my vehicle could make it to ernie's to be worked on... i've had nothing but top notch service here over the years on two different vehicles. when they were doing my oil changes and maintenance my car was in perfect condition. i was a delivery driver, detailer and porter in valparaiso, very familiar with most automotive businesses and i full heartedly trust ernie's only. unfortunately i moved out of state and after having to take my car elsewhere, it is in horrible shape. i'm about an hour out from valparaiso now and haven't had luck finding anybody of similar quality.edit: i'm seeing some other reviews about the techs being condescending to women. i am a female in my mid 20s and have personally never had that issue. mike and robert were always very pleasant, they are who i remember helping me.”

“I started coming to this Casey's as I own a small biz nearby and the gas is always cheaper (on my Upside app!). I keep going back, not just for reasonable gas but because the staff is always SO nice to me. The ice cream is amazing, too! ?”
“The employees are friendly and helpful. Pizza smelled really good but, for first experience, I bought two single slices of supreme. Sadly, It was not as expected. Very bland and cheese stuck to the bag. (I don't think this is because the employees failed at making it.) I think it was just the way the cheese taste. The second time I bought food at Family Express, I just grabbed some bread sticks with marinara. Which were okay. They also have fresh sandwiches and other to- go items I'll try next time. Still giving it 4 stars because it is clean inside, and the employee are friendly.”

“Been going to this Walgreens for years and it’s always been great, especially when Mr. McBride the pharmacy manager is there, he’s great to deal with…. Went for a flu shot and once again Milan was there to give it to me and he not only does a terrific job but he’s very personable and great to talk to…. As others have said here, they do have a pharmacist named Courtney I believe, who is not real friendly and has an obvious attitude, you immediately sense it… I understand they are always busy but you know that before you enter that business of waiting and serving people in a pharmacy…. Walgreens probably needs to give her an attitude adjustment or move her out of the store…. However, overall my experience at this pharmacy and dealing with Mr. McBride has always been positive…”
