βChicken is great and so are the potato wedges. Every other side is not great. Mashed potatoes are bland, as is the coleslaw. If you have sides at home or pick them up elsewhere you'd be better off.β

βI love this gas station! They have a hippie section with anything you need for smoking or vaping. $10 tie-dye t-shirts up to 5X. I always find something I want for myself or to give as a gift. If you can't find it here, you don't need it. Highly Recommend you check it out!β

βI stop there every few months on route to my sonβs house. The menβs bathroom is more disgusting each time. I wonder about the maintenance on the coffee and soda tap lines. I think Iβll be passing by if it doesnβt improve a lot.β
βOverall, this is a nice place to do business at. The staff is usually very friendly and helpful (especially the Owner/Manager!), and you can tell that your business is appreciated here. The store is conveniently located next to the Town & Country market, and I like the fact that getting in and out of the lot is pretty easy compared to other gas stations. Fuel pricing is always competitive here as well. The store is usually very clean, organized, and features a good selection of common convenience store items (soda, chips, cigarettes, etc.). A restroom is also available for customer use, and is always very clean. My only complaint about this location is the pricing of grocery items inside the store. Cigarettes, beverages from the cooler, and grocery items are noticeably more expensive than at competitor's stores (ie: Speedway). However, the friendliness of the staff and this store's location usually offset my pricing concerns. I guess I'd rather pay a little extra for quality service whenever possible. Again, this BP is a nice place to do business at, and I do recommend stopping by.β

They always have lots of candy and soda. It's kept very clean. The bathrooms are very clean. The floores are spotless and and the staff is extremely nice. AND the atm machine is never out of service. I always go in in the evening after work. And there's this one girl who is always doing something sweeping cleaning. βDoes a good job. Workets ate always fruendly. I have never had any damage and it does a decent job. I have 2 trucks and ones a crew cab and it cleans good. It not perfect its only a machine.β

βThis gas station had the lowest prices in the area! There were plenty of pumps for everyone to get their gas. The staff were nice and helpful. The inside was clean too. I used the restroom, which was difficult to find slightly, but was very clean and amazing smelling. I think this is a good stop for off the highway!β

Top notch. All the associates here are great as well.β
βThe wonderful attendant here chose to help me purchase a bottle of water. I had limited funds and she not only cut the price significantly for me, but also helped with additional money that was needed to buy it. Very beautiful woman. βFE has the best sugar cookies ever, and the design of the cookies changes per holiday or season. Great drink selection too. However, they tend to be out of coffee creamer frequently.β
βThe pizza is good but the chicken sandwich was horrible dry you take a bite and the whole piece of chicken comes out. The cashier must have been having a bad day. It's kind of getting old inside the store. The wear and tear is starting to showβ
βCertainly a convenient place to go since they're all over. Gas prices are comparable and you get 5 cents off if you're a member. It adds up. The car wash is good but not great. The back of my car never seems to get properly cleaned.β

βI've been visiting this Speedway every other day for the past month and a half to get diesel for machines on a nearby construction project. The built-in White Castle is a great bonusβI've visited once, and it was very nice. The on-site car wash is also very convenient and fun. I've never had any issues with any part of the property, from the store to the amenities. Highly recommend this location!β

βThis is gonna sound weird, but their pizza is better than some pizza places in town. Really - ditch the cheap chain pizza places one night and order a Casey's pizza. Waaay more cheesy and saucey than [Tiny Roman Emperor]'s Pizza.
Oh, and my car has never complained about the gas, so get that too.β

βdesperately wish my vehicle could make it to ernie's to be worked on... i've had nothing but top notch service here over the years on two different vehicles. when they were doing my oil changes and maintenance my car was in perfect condition. i was a delivery driver, detailer and porter in valparaiso, very familiar with most automotive businesses and i full heartedly trust ernie's only. unfortunately i moved out of state and after having to take my car elsewhere, it is in horrible shape. i'm about an hour out from valparaiso now and haven't had luck finding anybody of similar quality.edit: i'm seeing some other reviews about the techs being condescending to women. i am a female in my mid 20s and have personally never had that issue. mike and robert were always very pleasant, they are who i remember helping me.β
βThis was my 2nd time getting pizza from this location and I came in 10 minutes before closing, I had no clue they were about to close and felt like a complete jerk for ordering a pizza that late, but the girl at the pizza oven seriously was the kindest most professional employee and it made the end of my day so much better! She took the order, made the pizza and got it done in minutes! She really made a day of working 11 hours on my feet all day worth it, so thanks for having such a hard worker on your staff!β

βFamily Express has always been my One stop shop for gas, snacks or drinks. I always buy their macchiato from the machine just add French vanilla and caramel mixed together and push the button.β

βThe employees are friendly and helpful. Pizza smelled really good but, for first experience, I bought two single slices of supreme. Sadly, It was not as expected. Very bland and cheese stuck to the bag. (I don't think this is because the employees failed at making it.) I think it was just the way the cheese taste. The second time I bought food at Family Express, I just grabbed some bread sticks with marinara. Which were okay. They also have fresh sandwiches and other to- go items I'll try next time. Still giving it 4 stars because it is clean inside, and the employee are friendly.β
