“My mother-in-law passed away unexpectedly and the police ended up having to break into her house. In the process they broke a screen on the storm door, so I called to see if they could fix. They said normally they have a few of these backed up and needed a few days, but they ended up being able to get me in right away. We ran it over and ended up chatting for a bit with who I assume was the owner. It was a huge blessing to have him help us out and even more of a blessing when he slid the screen across the table and said there was "no charge." If you have any ability to choose to support this business, you would be doing the right thing by doing so.”

“I would like to give a HUGE compliment to Ashley in customer service at the Lowe’s in Merrillville, IN!!! She is truly an amazing employee! I had purchased and paid for a generator online for curbside pickup. When I arrived at the store, Ashley let me know that the item hadn’t been picked in the store yet and the generator sold and was no longer available. To say I was disappointed was an understatement. After canceling the order I left and was calling around to find another generator and wasn’t having any luck. After about 10 minutes, Ashley called me and let me know that someone else had cancelled their order for the same one and wanted to know if I wanted it!!!! Needless to say, I said yes and hurried back to the store! She had it there waiting for me! Now that’s customer service!!!! Not all heroes wear capes and Ashley is definitely a hero!!! Our area has been hit hard with the storms and power outages and every employee I had interaction with was so kind and friendly!
