She really makes you want to come to this store. We pass up other Dollar Generals to go to Mary’s. I know a lot of other people feel the same way. I don’t know what she makes but it’s not enough for how much she does at this store. Give her a big raise!”

    “I had an amazing experience with Dublin Farm! He went completely out of his way to deliver dirt and compost to my house, even bringing his dump trailer to unload and place it perfectly next to our tree. It's honestly much better dirt and compost than you can find in stores. Not only was he incredibly kind, but he is also highly knowledgeable about plants and took the time to give me some fantastic advice for my garden. To top it all off, the price was amazing. I will absolutely be using Dublin Farm again and highly recommend them!”

When I arrived at the store the next day they did have it. I also purchased some grass-fed beef for $3.99 a pound, and what a fantastic price! I love their meat and produce! See you in 4 months when we are back.”

    “Always very quick, kind, and friendly. Great customer service. I will say though, if you have a hungry child and they bring in their snack, make sure you inform the people at the front upon entering. If not, they will make a fuss about it and even demonstrate to your child how that snack can still be rang into their system. Which I asked them to do, because all they were doing was nag at him, as opposed to explain it. Once explained both my son and I understood, however, It was not necessary to reprimand a 7 year old as harshly as they did. I understand we probably shouldn’t have done so, he was just hungry and I was wanting my kiddo somewhat pacified until I could cook the food we were purchasing at this establishment. I still gave 5 stars because the incident I described was a one-time ordeal and otherwise it’s always great. They also carry some of the best quality meat I’ve ever had!”

    “I love being able to run in a store and get what I need and quickly get out. Dollar general is my favorite quick store. They seemed to be stocked well even with shortages. The only thing that bothers me is when you know you only have like 15 minutes until they close but you know what you need and where to get it at and they suddenly have a different demeanour and they will shut the lights off Everytime even though they still have 10 minutes. I don't think they should be aloud to do that just for obvious reasons. Other than that.... It's my quick stop.”

    “I was pleasantly surprised by the staff at this store while shopping last week. The cashier was so helpful to the elderly man in front of me who was disabled. She helped him load his many purchases into his cart and had a fellow worker help him out to his vehicle. He was very limited in his mobility and this act of kindness really touched my heart. It feels good that some of our retail stores have staff that are willing to go that extra mile. It's definitely stayed with me.”

My kids and I love going here and getting their California spicy crunchy sushi and crab bowls on Wednesdays. That is when they have a sale on their sushi. Today I went in and showed my 16 year old daughter how to pay a bill at the customer service desk and they were very patient and nice!”

    “The store manager here is incredibly good at his job! I took notice to the way he greeted all customers that came through the door, made pleasant conversation with the lady before me in line and also in those throughout the store of different deals, etc. Up sold in a way that was not pushy or annoying! As a business owner myself I had to get on here and praise him! He noticed what I was looking let me know where another selection of similar items were at throughout the store without me asking, and I ended up getting other things from the area that he suggested that I would’ve not done had he not! I didn’t catch his name, but I did catch an over hearing that he will be going to the 38th St. in Columbus store! So whoever that man is given him a race because he was pleasant, was happy to be there and did great at his job! Finding employees like this is rare. Take care of him!”

My daughter likes to shop there as it gives her a chance to take a little drive plus she enjoys shopping in a smaller town where the store is not so busy and has less people shopping at the same time. So I rode with her to pick up a few things and it was a nice day and the store is clean and had the products we went for.”

    “I went for some household supplies and was able to get most of what was on my list. They were out of or didn't have a couple items on my list. I like shopping at DG because items are usually pretty fairly priced. I also buy food items at times when needed. I do miss these stores carrying clothes. I used to buy quite a bit of clothes at DG stores. They still have a few items but not like they used to have. I really don't understand why they did away with their bigger line of clothing as I know many people bought clothing items for the whole family there and it saved them and me as alot of us live on very limited budgets. And it was very affordable to buy clothes there. Alot of us would still prefer them having more clothes instead of more trivial items like more vases & wall art etc. Other than that I do like shopping at DG stores. Some stores tend to carry more items than others but you never know that till you shop there.”

    “I saw another customer today after four years away from this post on a separate account for my personal use of technology. And she seemed unhappy, I noticed. But I want to change my direction. So I invested in your services today, despite my misgivings about the way people appear around me. I see people of different ethnicities, socioeconomic, backgrounds, and housing arrangements that changed my opinion of Carol’s daughter. That’s a line of hair products that insured my job at the Dollar General store while I was working there. They were first to carry it before Walmart. And seen it again on the shelves at my store while I was working at the Dollar General store was a surprise. And I know now that it was a mistake to be my life off of marketing schemes and that Walmart is a great job of keeping that out-of-the-way. They avoid NFC payments to help young men and women keep their financials safe on their phones and other devices. Thank you, Walmart for putting it on your shelves so I could leave my job at the Dollar General store without imploding my entire career in technology.”

    “The Walmart Supercenter on the northside of Muncie is one of my favorites. I know the store well. Sometimes things are out of order, but the crowds that come to shop at this Walmart can be overwhelming. As a marketing tactic, they like to keep shoppers on their toes and seem to constantly have revolving items and new items and stands in the store. In my experience, the bathrooms have always been clean. And *most of the cashiers and customer-facing workers are very kind. Something that may help customers navigate the store would be to download the Walmart App. In it, you can search for anything you're looking for and it will name the exact isle it can be found on. Even when I'm shopping around Walmart, I have found myself assisting the customers by pulling up my app because they look like lost puppies.”

Wish they would either have more check outs or self check outs open. It's a pain when only one or two lanes are open and half the self check outs are closed and there's a line with 10+ people in it when they are capable of opening either more self check outs(they are staffed) or at least more of the reg lines”

    Kroger is spending $112 million to build two new stores and renovate 15 existing locations across central and northwest Ohio. The company calls it a "record-breaking" commitment to the region. The two new Kroger Marketplace stores will rise in Canal Winchester and Delaware, Ohio, each costing roughly $30 million to build. Kroger broke ground on the Canal Winchester location on March 19 at the southeast corner of Diley Road and Greengate Boulevard. The 118,000-square-foot store is expected to open in late fall 2026 and will create around 250 jobs.

    Loblaw Companies Limited is putting serious money into its retail network this year. Canada's largest food and pharmacy retailer announced it will spend $2.4 billion in 2026 to open new stores, renovate existing locations and strengthen its supply chain. The company plans to open 70 new stores in 2026. That includes 34 Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmaprix pharmacies and care clinics, along with 31 hard-discount No Frills and Maxi grocery stores. On top of the new openings, Loblaw will renovate another 191 stores and continue construction on a roughly 1.2 million-square-foot automated distribution center in Caledon, Ontario.
