“We didn’t want to stop here first since we are from out of town and don’t know the brand. We didn’t find 91 easily at Casey’s so we came across the street. Wow.. just wow. The selection is almost overwhelming the amount of stuff they have a good quality. Clean, safe and well lit. We got what we needed and ran out.”
“Well this place does have gas that is cheaper by a few cents. Have a great special two slices of pizza and a drink for five bucks which is really good in the pizza is tasty. My only complaint is there air compressor you have to pay for it, other than that everything is pretty good”

“I work til 10 pm and go here afterwards to get my cigarettes when I get paid. I stopped for a while because of the young black woman that was working there. She wore her pants half off her butt and acted like she couldn't care less to be there. I went back last night and was so happy to see the other woman back there. She has an awesome customer service personality! Please keep her!”
“The remodel they did makes a lot more room. Mikey is great! Friendly fast service. I used to go to church in Altoona, I moved out of the area but stopped in and happy to see Mickey is still working hard and remembered my name !”

“I doordash, and this is my first pick, only one that is half a _ hair above? Casey's Newton, i 80 and Iowa speedway. Randy holds the key to how pizza ? al diente... Crimson is my culinary artist in the Altoona Ankeny region. I have had several, no more than several requests for the location Crimson works at.. Altoona East of prairie meadows south of i 80... 3rd place goes to Ankeny oralaber just east of i 35 by la Quinta... There are more folks in the background, not wanting to be famous, or just are understaffed, bomb rushed by orders....show them some love. ? They put up with me being pushy... Hunger never sleeps.. and I get the food to those who are waiting, with a sense of urgency... Fresh and hot as possible.”
“Always friendly staff whenever I stop here. Store is always clean, have a good selection of food. This location is also trucker friendly. Fuel island and parking lot for Semi's. This location is close to an Amazon warehouse. If you need a copy of something, you can get it here.”
“I usually like this store , but one night right before they closed at the time was midnight my car battery died. I couldn’t get a hold of anyone and had no cables. I told him I would be back first thing in the morning to jump it. He said get it out of here I said PKEASE Don’t ave it towed I’ll be here first thing in the morning, which I was but NO he had it towed. Cost me $400 to g&s to tow it less than two miles. So I’m a little salty about that. It was just mean. And it’s a 2012 beetle so it wasn’t like it was a junk car . Disappointed ?”

“I love the prices the pizza is good but I almost got banned cuz my friend was stealing they saw on the camera I had no thing to do with it cuz I paid for pur stuff but we both almost got banned when it should have just been him cuz I didn't know what he was gonna do when we walked in”
“Not a truck driver but my fiancé is. The area where it's located is pretty busy with semis coming in/out. There is a lot of truck parking available and like I said, it's always busy. It's by restaurants and other hotels. Their store was pretty clean. We stayed a hotel nearby and we were told this area can get pretty sketchy but we didn't experience anything bad. Just a regular truck stop.”

“I just stopped in here today and even though it was super busy they got me right in and out what really caught my eye was the fact that an older lady was in here using a cane and one of the gals helped her outside open the door for her and took her to her car and helped her get in don't know the name of the galthat did it but that's why I'm writing this review”
“My roommate happens to be the new manager over here. I've popped over a few times now and it's looking better. They been gradually getting the place fixed up.
Maybe not well funded as Casey's or Kum & Go but it's doing a little better now.”
“Good clean showers. Hot delicious food. And friendly employees! Not sure what her name was but the blonde headed lady that was cleaning the showers was doing an amazing job and working hard to keep up with the inflow of drivers 👍. Joe was working the front and although someone didn't call in and missed their shift and he was working the front all in his own, he was so friendly and still had a good work attitude. That goes a long way especially when you're running the front area all on your own. Hats off to you sir. God bless this store and the good people who work there. This is going to be one of my new favorite truck stops.

“I have not gone into this Casey's yet. I have ordered online a couple times since I have moved to Altoona. They haven't messed up my order yet. I see all these reviews from a while back it seems, complaining about them messing up everyone's order or it running late. This has not been my personal experience. Granted, Doordash is who makes the delivery, not Casey's, so any lateness on delivery could be the driver's responsibility...but again, I have not had this issue.I actually came on here to post and rave about their Kings Hawaiian Brisket Sandwich I just order and demolished half of immediately! I have been searching for a good BBQ brisket sandwich for weeks now...I have been to Smokey D's, Jethro's, etc...trying to get a familiar good tasting BBQ Beef Brisket sandwich.Who'd have thought, the best tasting brisket sandwich in the greater DSM area, would be Casey's?Thank you, I now have a go to for my taste of home (Texas)!”

I was able to call my phone & a very nice young man named Alex answered it & I told my name & what happened, he said he found it on the counter & put it behind the counter for safe keeping!
