“Like other Aldi, good selection of food and merchandise. Still not quite the same as our original experience in Germany, but not too bad either. First time we've lived near one here in the USA. Nice to look through their weekly ads and specials, never know what you might see.”

“The employees are excellent, kind, and helpful. But not enough of them are staffed and they're made to work too fast. The company is able to afford to staff more employees and should do it - it's the only thing that tarnishes the store's image, in my eyes.”

“Honestly I just really love this place it has most of my favorite things and if you go to one of the aisles for the ice sparkling water it's only $0.98 and a lot of their stuff is 98 cents I get some people think that is a lot of prices but it's not to me also I love going there to get my Wax Candy because they're only a dollar for the wax candy so I get to get about four bags of them they have donuts and cookies anything you could want or need Cash Saver has it I'm only 10 years old but I do go there a lot with my mom and I love it so does my mom we go there all the time every Sunday so yeah to the people that are saying and giving two stars and three stars and one star here's a reason that you shouldn't do that thank you Cash Saver so much”
“Hy-Vee is my go to store. They could lower their prices, but they have everything. I shop Hy-Vee for 99% of the meat I buy. They also carry Grazianos Sausage - the ONLY Italian sausage to buy!”
“I went into the Hy-Vee can and bottle room on Saturday morning around 10:45 a.m. . There was a lady in the can room working and her name is Carla. Carla is one of the hardest workers I have seen at this location in a very long time. I told her that I thought she was doing a superb job and that I was going to leave a review for her because she deserves a pat on the back. All the machines were working which is such a rarity at this location and she never stopped doing something in the room. Whether it was cleaning the machines or sweeping and mopping the floor she was just one of the best workers I have seen there so thank you Carla for doing such a great job and respecting the can and bottle room so that many of us can come in and reap those rewards.”

“Brock at Hy-Vee Altoona needs recognition. I am an impatient doordasher. He told me 30 to 40 minutes... Due to a false fire alarm caused disruption earlier that day... Brock and team had my order ready, took less than 15 minutes. A senior with mobility issues got her groceries, on her table, complete. Thank you Brock, thank you Hy-Vee for this wonderful service you provide.... As a doordasher, I don't need huge tips.... Give me a 5 Star review.. it means more than cash....
