“Cedar Falls can get a bit desperate for a vegan — NG to the rescue. The only store in town with multiple reliably stocked vegan proteins (tofu, tempeh, Kite Hill Greek Yogurt, Abbots, Field Roast products, vegan protein powders, and more) and other vegan essentials. It may be a bit pricier than other shops, but the quality is high, and they are trustworthy. They have water for refillable containers, for anyone not interested in drinking Iowa tap. “When an elderly person using a cane tells the person sacking the groceries to NOT make the bags very heavy because they have to carry them in and there are five bags and four are packed very heavy. When she put them in the car I could tell by the way she lifted them that those bags were going to be heavy for me to carry into my house. Next time I will grab extra bags on my way out so I can downsize them to carry them in. I like Fareway but there is no need to pack the bags that heavy for anyone.”

Walking into this store is a fantastic visual experience. The store layout and visual arrangement are among the best I have seen across supermarkets. The vegetable and fresh produce section right at the entrance sets a high standard—everything looks so vibrant, fresh, and irresistibly presented that it genuinely invites you to shop. The team deserves great appreciation for keeping the store clean, well-organized, and incredibly inviting.

“There was a mix-up with a product placed in a spot it didn't belong that I bought and I explained what happened to the assistant manager Crystal and she took care of everything for me didn't argue with me just gave me excellent service. Very impressed as I am in customer service myself and it is refreshing to see someone else treat people the way I treat people. Five stars 10 out of 10 repeat customers for life.”

“I’m a little disappointed they no longer offer 10% Ethanol at the pumps and it’s 15% or Premium which I think is without Ethanol still. I do like the new pumps as the others were looking pretty outdated. For this using the app to pay, the pump numbers are mounted towards the top of the post between the pump and what holds up the awning.
Inside is like a mini grocery store, featuring items that are locally sourced (almost like an indoor farmers market). Lots of variety plus their homemade ice cream using milk from their own dairy farm.
Their breakfast pizza is good snd you get a large slice. I’ve heard their carry out pizza is good too although haven’t tried it. Malts and other ice cream items you can buy inside are very good.”

“A great place to do a grocery shopping With a great meat counter. They do a good job bagging your groceries and putting them in the cart and they walk it out to your car and load it up. A full service grocery store. Just like in the old days I love it.”
