βGreat experience at Ajla's Bakery & Grocery. The bakery items are fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care, and the grocery section has a good variety of everyday essentials and specialty items.
The staff is friendly and welcoming, and they make you feel comfortable while shopping. Service is efficient, and the store has a clean and organized feel overall.
Overall, a great local spot for both fresh baked goods and grocery needs. Definitely a place worth visiting again.
Ajla's Bakery & Groceryβ
βLove their deli subs, plus even yhough the store has changed ownership. The people that took over kept their word and kept Corks pretty much the same as its been the last 50 or so years.β
βIt's a small grocery store but has so much more inside. The staff were outstanding in every aspect. The produce was fresh and priced cheaper and in better shape and price compared to Walmart and Aldi. Plus it's the only store around that carries my favorite creamer.β
βStarted shopping here again. Prices are reasonable. The only thingis fresh mears you can get wrapped up how you want it. I go to Fareway for alot of my meats. Yes you need a quarter to get a cart, but when you out it back you get the quarter back. Part if their way to keep carts corralled and not all over the parking lot. Also bring your own bags or boxes to package your groceries. They do sell bags if needed.β
βNot a huge drinker, so it is really nice that the employees are very helpful when I am looking for something. Last time I was in I was looking for mead, and they were able to help me find it right away. Not a huge selection of mead, but still more than I expected. Plus it is convenient to be able to also pick up a few items from the store and check out in the wine and spirits.β
βMersimβs Kitchen, Waterloo, Iowa, is a Bosnian store and Kitchen stocked with authentic products from Bosnia and Balkan countries. It offers daily fresh bread and lepinja, varieties of smoked meats and sausages. You pick up your own order to go. Recently I ordered cevapi. It was excellent.

βEverything a good Asian market should have. Huge variety of frozen meat and fish along with fresh veggies. Almost overwhelming by the amount of food it sells. Wish I fluent in asian language to be able to read the labels.β

βPretty simple! Follow the signs. No issues here! They offer overnight parking no one will bother you Either when you first turn in or in the lot with all of the trailers. This overnight parking is only for ADULTS! Meaning you children that donβt clean up after yourselves or throw your trash outside and even the ones that think the world is your personal toilet throwing bags of poop outside like a child smearing poop on a bathroom wall. Youβre not welcomed here! Go struggle to find parking somewhere else.
A red zip means the trailer is MTY btw.β
βI slipped and fell in this store by the restroom entrance, a few years ago. I got hurt really bad and was injured for awhile. I do not shop at this store anymore, but I still shop in their other stores. I like the items in the store and I dont mind the prices. Just because I fell, I still like Dollar General.β
βThe BEST DOLLAR GENERAL in the Cedar Valley. I had a great experience today as a Door Dasher! I had three separate orders within an hour and each time the staff helped me find the items in the store!
If it weren't for the staff working on Saturday night 6-27-2026, I would have been looking for the items and probably not found all of them as well as spent an hour looking which would have made me upset.
Even as a customer, this has always been the best DG in terms of customer service!!β

She takes her time, explains the differences, the cost, and puts together a memorable flower bouquet that makes the surprise delivery that much more special. Diane is a gem and I trust in her judgement and expertise for all special occasions.β
βI'm mostly use the pharmacy but I occasionally grocery shop at this location. It's pretty clean, most of the employees are very welcoming, professional, and very helpful. The prices are great and the fuel saver is awesome! It's one of my favorite places to shop. I definitely recommend it to anyone!β
βWent for some quick grocery shopping. Service was great. Bought a case of water on sale that rang up as double the price. They quickly verified that it was wrong and adjusted the price plus a discount.β
βPretty decent place too bad they got ran into by a car a few times crazy side of town I guess you know other than that they had almost anything you could need it was a little pricey but it's because of the convenience nothing bad to say reallyβ

I am a regular patron of this retail store, and assume it was due to delayed product deliveries. I live in the neighborhood, and have had this store save me from a commute across town on numerous occasions.β

βDollar general is very convenient and carries things that are net necessities plus things that are not they come in very handy all in one little store people are always very friendly and help me carry things to my car being starting to save them thanks so much have a great oneβ
βIt was very crowded but because most of the people were in self-checkout I was able to find a line and it did not take long at all for me to get out of there I was very satisfied. I do not like being in big stores with a lot of people so I felt that the cashiers being open really made it easier. I do not get paid to check myself out.β

βThe wife and I wanted to try something new and different. We became aware of this place about a year ago and finally had had time to go and try it. The food is amazing. My wife said she has a new favorite restaurant. I highly recommend stopping by and trying anything. You can't go wrong. It's all fresh made to order. And you will not be disappointed.β
