“The isles is a bit narrow, so can easily become crowded. The prices is not to bad.
The meat is good, the meat prices is very good and they do have a good variety. I will definitely be going there again”
“A great place to do a grocery shopping With a great meat counter. They do a good job bagging your groceries and putting them in the cart and they walk it out to your car and load it up. A full service grocery store. Just like in the old days I love it.”

“Cedar Falls can get a bit desperate for a vegan — NG to the rescue. The only store in town with multiple reliably stocked vegan proteins (tofu, tempeh, Kite Hill Greek Yogurt, Abbots, Field Roast products, vegan protein powders, and more) and other vegan essentials. It may be a bit pricier than other shops, but the quality is high, and they are trustworthy. They have water for refillable containers, for anyone not interested in drinking Iowa tap. NG also has a loyalty program and sales, so you shop smartly. Updated from previous review on 2026-05-21”
“Good place to go. Friendly service, good selection. While the price of milk there is markedly higher than Walmart, I'll pay the difference because..it's not Walmart. Easy to get to, easy to get what ya need, easy to pay and leave out when done.”
“Great experience at Ajla's Bakery & Grocery. The bakery items are fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care, and the grocery section has a good variety of everyday essentials and specialty items.
The staff is friendly and welcoming, and they make you feel comfortable while shopping. Service is efficient, and the store has a clean and organized feel overall.
Overall, a great local spot for both fresh baked goods and grocery needs. Definitely a place worth visiting again.

“Love their deli subs, plus even yhough the store has changed ownership. The people that took over kept their word and kept Corks pretty much the same as its been the last 50 or so years.”
“Stopped in to check out their ice cream and was glad we did. They have a wonderful variety of ice cream, and any other dairy product you would need. They have cute little souvenir items. They also have their parking posts painted uniquely. Employees are friendly and helpful.”

“Started shopping here again. Prices are reasonable. The only thingis fresh mears you can get wrapped up how you want it. I go to Fareway for alot of my meats. Yes you need a quarter to get a cart, but when you out it back you get the quarter back. Part if their way to keep carts corralled and not all over the parking lot. Also bring your own bags or boxes to package your groceries. They do sell bags if needed.”

“Not a huge drinker, so it is really nice that the employees are very helpful when I am looking for something. Last time I was in I was looking for mead, and they were able to help me find it right away. Not a huge selection of mead, but still more than I expected. Plus it is convenient to be able to also pick up a few items from the store and check out in the wine and spirits.”

“Mersim’s Kitchen, Waterloo, Iowa, is a Bosnian store and Kitchen stocked with authentic products from Bosnia and Balkan countries. It offers daily fresh bread and lepinja, varieties of smoked meats and sausages. You pick up your own order to go. Recently I ordered cevapi. It was excellent.

“I usually pop in here at least once a Cedar Falls visit. This is the only place my sister buys milk and cream. But, there's so much more to browse through here: coffee from local roasters, homemade baked goods, cheeses, farm-raised meat, maple syrup, Iowa wine..... I was so surprised by the wine packs (like adult juice packs). Some were more than portable and included a lanyard. Fun place. Reserving five stars for when I try their ice cream.”

“Pretty simple! Follow the signs. No issues here! They offer overnight parking no one will bother you Either when you first turn in or in the lot with all of the trailers. This overnight parking is only for ADULTS! Meaning you children that don’t clean up after yourselves or throw your trash outside and even the ones that think the world is your personal toilet throwing bags of poop outside like a child smearing poop on a bathroom wall. You’re not welcomed here! Go struggle to find parking somewhere else.
A red zip means the trailer is MTY btw.”
“I slipped and fell in this store by the restroom entrance, a few years ago. I got hurt really bad and was injured for awhile. I do not shop at this store anymore, but I still shop in their other stores. I like the items in the store and I dont mind the prices. Just because I fell, I still like Dollar General.”

“I'm mostly use the pharmacy but I occasionally grocery shop at this location. It's pretty clean, most of the employees are very welcoming, professional, and very helpful. “Literally the best experience ever! We met friends here and we all had a blast! 6 kids 1-9, and everyone LOOOOVED it! We are planning on coming back again! We loved the tour, feeding the calves, milking a cow, and tasting the treats at the end :) I would HIGHLY recommend this place!”
