“Every time I step foot into this store, I spend money, and never experience buyers remorse. I’ve been in plenty of Buckle stores over the years, and this location is my absolute favorite. In previous visits, I had the pleasure of working with the team lead (I’m so sorry I don’t remember her name), and I walked out with a bag full of items that made me feel amazing, and fit ME, not a fad, all because someone took a little extra time to be a personal shopper for me. Not just throw random options at me and be pushy, but listen to what I’m wanting and deliver! I’ve had 2 instances in the last 2 years with her and she was phenomenal.
Then today, my daughter and I had the pleasure of working with Hannah. Not only was she friendly and so sweet and patient with my 6-year-old, she helped me find options for my whole family. She asked my daughter to help her shop for mom, wasn’t pushy at all, and even on a not-so-great clothes day, helped me find something that made me feel confident and comfortable.
The hiring and training in this location is clearly working, these women are fantastic at their job!”

“What a wonderful place to go for wedding gowns, especially when the bride has no idea of the style she’s looking for. Kelly was amazing and helpful, from picking out styles to trying them on, she also suggested options she felt would be a good gown to try on. We did not feel pressured to make a decision, went and had lunch and went back to say “Yes to the Dress” I would highly recommend visiting Elegant Repeats for wedding dresses!”
“Love the care they give you. Very personable and go out of their way in store. Ordering online is amazing too, fast and always on time. I love shopping here! They are convenient and items are of very good quality, plus if the do not have my size, they can usually find it. I am a bigger shorter person, that combo is not always easy to find a fit for.

“I stopped by this store today right when it opened. Upon reaching the checkout, I encountered a very beautiful young woman who, however, seemed somewhat unmotivated—I imagine because it was so early in the day. Then I realized it was a Monday—a day when most people seem to be a little less spirited. So, I made a point of telling that young woman two important things. The first was that there were—and still are—so many people crying out, wishing, and pleading for a job. The second was simply to tell her that she was truly beautiful; back in Brazil—the country we are visiting from—she would easily be a model. Even my wife agreed! External beauty is pleasant, but gratitude must come from within. I am grateful to God for giving me the chance to start the week with this reflection.”
“I had the MOST amazing service today in the dressing room and at the checkout. Bith ladies were so helpful finding me the right sizes for clothing. The check out girl was so helpful too. She assisted me with ordering the items in the size and styles I wanted that their store didnt have. Huge credit to the SW Kohl's for giving me the best shopping experience! “While assisting an elderly friend find new window coverings, I encountered the most informed, professional, pleasant, concerned and helpful staff at the Cedar Rapids store. We started the task first with Amanda selecting and purchasing draperies and ordering what was not available. The order arrived within days. When needing to return/exchange part of the purchase a while later, Lori and Janet were exceptionally courteous, informed and helpful. They were busy ladies the afternoon I was there and still made certain my needs were met. And at the best possible cost! Thank you Amanda, Lori and Janet! Thank you JCPenny!”
“Ty did AMAZING today with my son and went above and beyond for us. Not only was he kind but he kept his patience with my wild toddler and got amazing photos. I will say whoever the person is who answers the phone and helps out was kind of rude and not very professional. I know this time of year can be hard I also work retail and it’s crazy but I don’t appreciate the way she talked to me on the phone. Overall tho I would love for Ty to do my son’s pictures in the future.”
“I would just like to comment how AMAZING of an experience we had today. Note, we shop at Cato frequently and at various stores, and while we always get good service, the service today was EXCEPTIONAL!!! It is my birthday today so we came to Cedar Rapids to celebrate and decided to kill some time by going to Cato. Jessica was absolutely phenomenal helping my daughter out, thinking of things she thought would look good on her and pulling them from the racks. If we thought she needed a different size, Jessica happily offered to check if you had that size. She also gave her opinion on everything my daughter tried on, it was like she was a part of our shopping group. Jessica even pulled a beautiful, almost sage green which happens to be daughter's favorite color (unbeknownst to Jessica) ,sweater that another associate had just started unpacking so it wasn't on the shelves yet for my daughter to try on and she loved it! It looked gorgeous on her! We walked away with half of what she tried on and the half we didn't walk away with happened to mostly be pulled from my daughter or someone in our shopping group while most of what we purchased was pulled from Jessica. It wasn't just another shopping trip, it was an amazing shopping experience! Thank you a bunch Jessica!”
“Had just visited and it was not what I was expecting since it was packed with overpriced items. The inside was pretty nice with a Sephora inside for those that like Sephora. I didn’t go inside of it so I don’t know what it is like in there. But I went and looked over by the suitcases and the prices were so high. $200 for a suitcase is so over priced. Don’t buy suitcases from here go on Amazon for that. Overall decent place not for me though.”
“My son took his date for prom. The host was excellent and made sure they had a lovely view from their table. The only issue was that my son is a vegetarian. We proactively looked at the menu to make sure that he had a couple of nice options to eat. Not sure if it was a miscommunication or if they were out of things, but the server told him the only option he had was a black bean burger. Even though he tried multiple times to ask for other options. He did say it was a good burger, but not exactly the vibe he was looking for at a fancy dinner.”

“Lala B's. What a cute store! Lisa has done a wonderful job making this store her own, and has so many cute clothes at reasonable prices. I am glad I am able to be in Cedar Rapids often, because I plan to make this a regular stop!”
