“My whole life I thought Burlington was an overpriced mom store. Boy was I wrong. My bad for living under a rock. Lots of mens clothing for reasonable prices. Kind of like a more organized Marshall's in my experience.”
“This is a decent store to find miscellaneous items for a cheaper price point. I got a couple of rugs and a few notebooks for around $20. They also had a neat program where you could add a cheap toy to be donated to kids in need.”
“Ugh, the young ones that they hire. Well wait, the kid working when I went there was a bit on the rude side with a couple side glances of disapproval and a whatever from me and I was done shopping. I'm sure it was just minutes to closing and he wanted to go home or whatever.”
“This is not the closest DT for me but I will travel to this location because it’s my favorite DT! They are amazing!! They ALWAYS have all the newest products/seasonal items out & well stocked while other locations are still unpacking the same items or some haven’t even started yet! They always keep their inventory well stocked and offer a lot of items that other stores don’t seem to carry. They have the BEST craft section that is always well stocked and well organized. I will go to locations closer to me when I need something and it never fails, I always end up coming back to this location to get what I need and they usually never disappoint! Staff is usually always nice and helpful, never any issues!”
“We spent about $1,000 at this store. We bought all kinds of knick knacks and some furniture. The staff went above and beyond to be helpful. They have so many cute things as far as home decor -- aisle after aisle! Everything was very clean and organized. Would definitely recommend this location.”

“The employees are always nice, but sometimes the store is not neat. I know they only have a few employees, and when the truck comes, putting things away is hard to do when they're busy, but there isn't a lot of room to move on truck days. Item availability is less of an issue now, but was a big problem recently”

“they are always helpful & knowledgeable. they work hard at keeping it tidied and stocked with a good selection of products. and most importantly, they are genuinely "happy" to be there and it shows.UPDATE 03/13/21: to the young woman working (I will get your name & add it), who helped me with a cord to charge my phone, you went above & beyond! I am so grateful that because of you, I was able to retrieve important pics and other personal data from my phone before having to send in to insurance for reimbursement. “I’ve been to this location many times with my grandma, the area might seem ruff to those who aren’t from around here, but if you need something to eat, or something for your home it’s a great place to go, my grandma always gets sparkling flavor infused water so if there’s any lovers of that beverage reading this , hey you’ve just find your new go to spot.”
“The girl at the counter is the reason for this rating she’s always so polite to everyone who comes in and strikes up conversation with them easily she’s professional and helpful on top of being a positive person. 10/10 other dollar trees are dreary bc of the workers not this one. I bought $50 worth of stuff and she didn’t even hesitate or sigh when it came to bagging it all and she spaced it out! Not just all in one bag like I’ve seen before. “Have to be careful of the time of day, unfortunately when many kids are out of school I have seen them messing around (throwing things over isles and opening a lot of merchandise) the staff try to keep it fairly organized, but because of that it is a little bit of a mess. I feel bad giving 4 stars, but I wish there was something more that could be done about the destructive tendency of others who don't know how to behave in a store.”
“New Dollar Tree in Grimes! Finally! Located by the post office. Just like any other Dollar Tree. Simple and convenient store. Has all we need for dollar finds. Service is nice. During pandemic all employees are masked. Mask mandate was lifted in May 2021 so patrons are not required to mask. Clean new store. Will visit again!”
“I think I am a Dollar Tree "Junkie ". It seems I shop at Dollar Tree for most of the items I need and if I can't find what I am looking for there,then and only then do I move on to shop somewhere else. Most all the stores I shop at ( 63rd and Grand,SE 14th and Army Post road) I do shop other Dollar Stores,for the most part they have almost identical items stocked,every now and again I will find something different at each store,kinda like Christmas ? ? I don't see any issues with cleanliness and staff are usually friendly and helpful. I am not happy about the 25 cent increase in the cost on each item I buy. Because of this increase I find myself now doing Comparison shopping on price,before the increase I just bought the items and pretty well new I was getting a Bargain. I still like and shop at Dollar Tree, and will continue to shop at Dollar Tree.”
