“Hyvee is fantastic. Never had a bad experience with them. Sorry Conner and Kim for that jackass named Taylor that decided to leave a terrible review. He's a joke.”
“Cheryl Watson the pharmacist is top notch professional, helpful, friendly and approachable! I was in from out of town and with my Mom who needed help with her prescription. Cheryl came out from behind the counter to help communicate with her (91 and hearing problems). She listened to her needs and solved her problem. So kind!!! So kind and I know Mom is in good hands”
“Oh my gosh these women were amazing!! I went to three Walmarts to send money through money gram and they kept telling me they couldn't! But at Advance America on 22nd, this girl figured it out right away!!! Beat customer service ever!!!!”
“HyVee is generally reliable, but they have a tendency to raise prices and then put items on sale shortly after, which feels a bit like a tactic to draw in customers. Their selection is pretty good overall, but the organic fruits, vegetables, and cheese offerings leave much to be desired. We’ve had several instances where produce went moldy within a day or two, or even came home already spoiled.
One positive feature is their policy of giving you the item for free if there's a pricing error, even if it’s just a cent. I’d heard they discontinued this, but a manager recently told me it’s now up to their discretion. On the bright side, they offer a great selection of gluten-free products, which I really appreciate.
However, some of their choices are puzzling—like placing San Pellegrino waters and Spindrifts in the health section. While Spindrift is fairly healthy since it’s made with real fruit sugar, San Pellegrino contains known chemicals, which doesn’t quite fit-move them to the seltzer water section and put it on the top shelf. Just something to keep in mind!”
