“Love this guy the cashier clerk is awesome he's very friendly he makes you laugh he'll just get you in a good mood if you was in a bad mood but they do sell the cheapest gas in town are in the quad cities that I know of go check them out they're right on Harrison Street and Rock Island and they are a bank in the fire departments right across the street from right down from Kimberly on Harrison you just take care of him as soon as you come around the corner of the car dealers you will run right into it and you'll be glad you read this and went because it's very very cheap gas compared everywhere else”

“Stopped in on a road trip. Gas was reasonably priced for the area, and the restrooms were clean. Kwik Star coffee is ok for truck stop coffee. The biggest surprise was seeing the fresh vegetables and fruit they had. It was nice to get something different than a candy bar”

“I stopped by the nearby Big 10 Mart that runs this bp pumping station for a snack and a beverage and noted this station during my visit. I didn't actually get gas during the visit (I did not need any), but all the same, got to see it during my time in and around the Big 10 Mart. There are eight pumps total at this bp. At the time of my visit, all appeared to be in good working condition. I saw several people stop to get gas while I was around the area, none of which appeared to be having any difficulty operating the pump. Upon closer inspection of the pump, it appears that the payment screens appear to be slightly outdated compared to other bp stations in the area. This isn't a huge criticism, as they appeared to be working fine, both other bp stations, particularly those run by Q C Mart, appear to have the newer payment and selection systems with the blue backlit screens that are shared by other newer businesses, such as Kwik Star and CostCo Gas. At any rate, if I needed gas in this part of west Davenport in the future, I'd be okay with stopping here. The place is clean and in good working order. Thanks again, bp.”

I also wouldn't recommend hanging out too long or walking here after dark as some the customers can tend to be a little "sketchy "”

I shop for Backwater Gamblers concession stand and he was extremely helpful with finding our tax exempt, starting to ring us up while we were getting our last items, holding the door while we took our carts out and coming out to get our carts after loading the truck! “I was recently visiting the adjacent Q C Mart to this BP station to acquire some drinks and a snack. I noticed the BP station and was able to observe people purchasing gas and leaving over my visit.The pumps appear to be well kept up - only one was out of service when I stopped by. Nobody that was pumping gas appeared to be having difficulty or required assistance from the people inside the Q C Mart. Honestly, the condition of this station mirrors the relative cleanliness and orderliness of the other BP stations adjacent to other Q C Marts in the Quad Cities area.If I needed gas in the future, I would be okay with stopping by this location. I enjoy the quality product and service offered by both BP and the Q C Marts close to them. Thanks, BP.”

“I was in the area after running an errand in West Davenport on a Sunday. I wanted a drink and a snack and decided to stop into this Big 10 Mart to satisfy the need for both of these items. Big 10 Mart has been a Quad Cities institution for the better part of my time growing up in the area, but I hadn't been to one in a while.This particular Big 10 Mart appears to be relatively new, or at least remodeled recently. There's many of the trappings of other gas station convenience stores - a couple of shelves of snacks and basic hygiene products down the center of the space, a shelf of automotive supplies in the corner, and a series of coolers wrapping along two walls of the store interior with any number of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages available. They also have a small walk-in beverage cooler, The Icehouse, on one end of the store (that's pretty neat).The general architecture of the space is clean throughout. The floors are a relatively new looking square, neutrally colored ceramic tile, while the overhead is covered with a drop ceiling and florescent lighting throughout. There's an interesting feature above the coffee bar on the ceiling - a sort of wooden decoration with metal swirls on it above the coffee bar area. It was interesting - I'd not seen anything like it before, gas station convenience store or otherwise.I soon selected a Gatorade Zero and a small can of Pringles and went to pay at the register. Payment was quick and painless. At the time I had the option of payment from two different available attendants, both of whom were very friendly.If I were back in this part of west Davenport, I'd consider stopping by this Big 10 Mart again for another snack. The employees were nice, the store was clean, and they have a nice variety of both snacks and beverages available. Thanks, Big 10 Mart!”

“Driving to Los Angeles from Wisconsin and stopped here ... EVERYONE was so kind and nice, first place that people actually said hello when I walked in the door!! A young gentleman helped me out right away, and now I forgot his name, but he had a tattoo of FAMILY on his arm ... Tiffany also helped me, they even went OUT OF THEIR way to get me some bug wash out back ... I had to write a review about this place because it just really restored my faith in people and peoples kindness ... kudos to whomever hired these 2 humans!”

“I saw this man who looked homeless sitting over on the chairs and the lady who was working the front counter decided to ask him if he wanted som coffee and told him that he would pay for it after he was telling her he was just warming up and insisted that he go get something to warm him up. I have never once seen someone make a gesture like this at a gas station before and it really made my knight seeing this. Just to make sure I have the right Quick star reviews it was at 9:20 at the Quick Star across from the mall in Davenport, Iowa. She was an older lady but I did not get her name. She deserves to be appreciated by the store for her kind actions. We need more employees who care like her. God bless her heart! P.S. it’s 20° with a windchill of 9°”
