“Very nice and clean hotel. First time to downtown and it felt safe and secure here. Staff were super friendly and helpful. The manager gave our kiddo a bag of chips just because he made her laugh during check in.

“I stayed here for a couple days & got really good customer service. The staff were very friendly & helpful, especially Maggie. She usually works before the over night shift. All their communication between staff, is on point, when it comes to pleasing the guests. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anybody.”

“When I first arrived here the lobby smelled and I was really thinking twice about it but once I got to my room opened the windows and turned on the ceiling fan and cleaned the room real good and checked the mattress for bed bugs which there was none it is really a good place to stay just mind your own business and pay your rent and you will be good prices for everything is really a good deal it’s a cozy little place to stay I would recommend this place it just needs a little TLC”

“The hotel & the room was great!!! The restaurant, which we are told isn’t a part of the hotel and is seperate was absolutely awful!! Service, quality of food, none of that part was acceptable. But everything in the hotel, the staff, the lifeguards were all wonderful!”

It's sort of weird to get to, but located right off the interstate which gives easy access to wherever you are headed.
The hotel has some age on it. They have done a good job of updating the inside of the rooms. Comfortable mattresses. All sorts of plug ins and USB ports. Fridge and microwave. TV. Free wifi.
Not enough towels provided and when I went to the front desk to get more, I was told I had to turn in the ones I used first. How weird!
Free coffee offered in the mornings. Price was great. $75/night.
Lots of parking. Pretty quiet for being so close to the interstate.
Room very clean. Nice bedding. Could have used more or better pillows.”

“I've stayed at Des Lux multiple times this year and enjoyed every bit. Soft bedding, friendly staff... and especially the hot tub and sauna in the spa. Rooms are big, public parking garage is just across the street, and we always leave totally relaxed.”
