“Have always had a great experience with Capital City Rental, and they take care of us here at ExteriorWorx with good customer service and if we have a problem they have it fixed quickly.”
“I recently experienced a challenging situation when my scheduled truck reservation could not be fulfilled at my original Enterprise location. Fortunately, I was redirected to this branch, where Trey immediately intervened and resolved the issue. Trey demonstrated exceptional customer service by seamlessly transferring my reservation to his facility and honoring the terms of my initial agreement without hesitation. Rather than dealing with unnecessary complications or delays, the entire process was efficient and entirely stress-free. Trey was highly accommodating, remarkably quick, and genuinely enthusiastic about assisting me with my rental requirements. His proactive approach and dedication to customer satisfaction completely salvaged my schedule. I highly commend Trey for his outstanding professionalism and strongly recommend this location based on his exemplary service.”
“I had a coolant leak in the rental box truck I had driven from the Washington DC area for fire department training in Ames. The young lady behind the service counter was very nice and the Technician Ron was very helpful. I went and dropped off the load of training props I had and then he dropped what he was doing to get me back up and running as fast as he could. I was given a truck that was subpar in my opinion but you all took care of repairs professionally.”
“Reached out to Jd regarding some racking systems. Answered all my questions and he had the products, and all the numbers off the top of his head. Would recommend him for any of your needs.”
“Stopped in to uhall today to pick up a pull behind trailer. Caden M was an absolute pleasure to work with and was so helpful with any questions we had about to process. Would 100% recommend.”
“The staff at this location went above and beyond to help my brother rent a truck for a recent move. They were both accommodating and understanding during my communication with them throughout the process, which was a bit unique as I was in California and managed the rental from here.”
“DANNY. Remember that name. I have engaged with this Penske location on three (3) occasions and have had the absolute best fortune of being assisted by Danny. This fellow is the picture perfect ideal of providing over and above exemplary customer service. Having utilized many Penske, U-haul, etc. locations across the country for my moving needs, I can attest that you will not find a better company representative who is spot on with his knowledge and ever at the ready to aide/assist with your rental/relocation needs. I wish there were more Dannys in the industry. Give this gentleman a raise!!”
“What a fantastic U-Haul experience. I highly recommend going here. The owners were so kind and so helpful, and I felt so comfortable hauling the trailer cross country after speaking to them. I have lots of hauling experience(horses) but this was my first time with a really long uhaul drive. The pick up was completely stress free, and they were simply delightful. By far the very best U-haul experience I have had in 30 years.”
“Porschia was super sweet, very helpful. I came 10 minutes before closing, which I know is horrible but she was not at all bothered and friendly, personable, helpful. Highly recommend.”
“I'm writing this review for my mom who rented a storage unit at this location. The employees at this location restored my Mom's faith in humanity. I live out of state so unfortunately could not help her, but thank god for the employees at this store who helped her get her belongings squared away. Not only did they have excellent customer service, they treated my mom like family and showed her the utmost compassion. Thank you all so much”
“The gentleman at the store was absolutely wonderful and helped us save money. He even carried really heavy boxes out of the goodness of his heart to the car. Sometimes in life, it is those people that go the extra mile that make you a customer for life. Anyone needing a truck or boxes or other items they sell, please go here.”
“Reserved a small trailer this morning and Faith was amazing! We were in and out in under 20 mins even with having to buy an adapter to hook up the trailer lights. At first we had grabbed the wrong adapter got everything all rung up and paid for but on the way out she realized we had grabbed the wrong one and she didn't charge is for the right one she just switched to the right one and we were out the door. And when we brought the trailer back she met us outside to get it all checked back in! Best experience by far! Amazing customer service from Faith! I highly recommend the Urbandale location!”

“I stored my car at park avenue self storage for a couple months while I was without a garage. The facility is exceptionally clean and well taken care of. The staff is wonderful and very friendly. I 10/10 recommend them if you’re searching for a storage unit around Des Moines!”
