“Clean Bathrooms and E85 for our cross country trip is what we are looking for and this was a perfect stop! They had so many lunch options everyone was satisfied!! They had a huge selection of bakery products. This was our first time to a Kwik Star, and we were pleasantly surprised. Super friendly and helpful staff. The cashier even went out of her way to get some extra utensils and condiments for our lunches.”

The place is very clean and typically don't have to wait too long for anything like standing in line to pay, bathroom lines, for, has pumps etc. They'll make hot food you're wanting if they do not have it sitting out already. If you just ask them they're on it which only takes a couple mins of your time!”

“I went to hyvee gas station on bowling st sw today. They had a special on gas from 10-4pm 2.75 and I had 1.75 fuel saver!Anyways they were packed each pump was occupied. I walked in the store to see one employee working ! I asked her , I can't believe on a special like this they don't have at least two people working!? She said there's supposed to be, but other person didn't show!This poor girl did a fabulous job!! I wish I knew her name cause she deserves so much credit ! I have a question though ? Wth would manager leave her alone on a busy day like this ? Wouldn't you think if someone didn't show, then manager would have to step up and fill in especially when it's so busy that every pump at gas station is being used. This teenager who was working was probably only 16 ,17 years old and I just wanr to say , her job skills are great! She so deserves a great job today!! I hope you will see this review cause you so deserve it young lady! You were doing a fabulous job maintaining all alone .”

“This is the 2nd time I have bought a can of chew that was expired from these guys. Check the dates if you are to buy chew. The first time it was outdated by 3 months. Bought a can the other day, didnt expire for 3 months and today bought an expired can? Do they not know how to rotate? I called the store and talked to Manager Tim he was more than helpful and said he was going to train staff in rotation to fix this problem. The fact that he seemed to care is why I gave a situation a 5 star review. I will keep coming back because they care.”

“I went to Walgreens at about 5:00 p.m.. There were no customers in line when I went inside. I told an associate I was there to pick up something from FedEx. They directed me to the photo area and said that person could help me with it. At the photo desk, I told the person I was here to get something from FedEx. They gave me a deer-in- the-headlights look and stumbled around for a minute. Another person approached and walked them through the process. I had another item to purchase and took that to the cash register where the cashier talked to me and made the transaction but didn't look me in the eye once. I don't recommend that store if you're looking for a personable shopping experience. Aside from that, it seems like a well-lit, clean, well maintained Walgreens.”
“This place is a great stop for gas in Cedar Rapids. Its not far off the interstate. The traffic is quick to get in and out. But real reason i wanted to review. A older lady in a prius pulled up with a shredded tire. The staff instantly noticed and both of them came to her rescue. That's more than Iowa nice that's great customer service.”

“I was shocked how polite and friendly the staff was. After 20 years of most businesses employing staff that play on their phones and ignore you, I almost felt uncomfortable and wanted to lodge a complaint. Then I thought I should give it full stars instead.”
“This "review" is more for me to speak to the staff than an actual review because I have ADHD, anxiety, depression, and (a high likelihood of) autism, so directly speaking about this , or even calling myself out, in person makes me very uncomfortable (because it should). To some of the employees there, I apologize for checking y'all out. I recognize it would potentially make y'all uncomfortable and is (more or less) a violation of personal boundaries, so for that I am also sorry (which I don't know why it has not sunk into my thick skull by now). And anybody else who thinks they can go there and do that needs to be called out in that moment (myself included [especially me]) because it is not appropriate for complete strangers to do that in that setting. Time and place is important, y'all! (Again, reality check, I need to do better; I'm sorry)”

“**Pizza Review: Half Taco Half Supreme from Amana Casey’s General Store**
Late Sunday night, with a cheat meal craving in full swing, I decided to treat myself to something special: the Half Taco Half Supreme pizza from Casey’s General Store. And let me tell you, it did not disappoint.
First off, shoutout to Kale, the pizza guy, who absolutely crushed it. The pizza was made to perfection—10/10, hands down. The Half Taco side was everything you'd want in a taco-inspired pizza: spicy, flavorful, and loaded with all the right toppings. The blend of seasoned beef, gooey cheese, lettuce, and tomatoes all came together in a way that satisfied both my taco and pizza cravings in one bite.
The Supreme side was just as incredible. Packed with pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, and peppers, every bite was a burst of savory goodness. The crust was perfectly crispy, the sauce just right, and the cheese, oh the cheese—melty, stretchy, and absolutely delicious.
Overall, this pizza hit every mark. I’m already looking forward to my next late-night cheat meal. Thanks, Kale, for delivering the goods. If you haven’t tried this combo yet, do yourself a favor and grab one. Highly recommended!”

“Everything is perfect as usual except one thing at the Mt Vernon Rd location... There is a female employee who for some unknown blasphemous reason seems to be working the register literally every single second of every single day. I have spoken to several other regular customers like myself about her absolutely terrible job performance and awful customer service skills, and apparently word around is everyone is now calling her Mrs. Molasses because she's about slow enough to make a person want to blow their own head off right there at the register. I just don't understand how an employee who is literally this horrible at their job so much so that everyone in town talks about them and has even given them a nickname, is the one employee who is there more than ANYONE else employed there!!! Why give your slowest, laziest, (and with all due respect here) stupidest employee more hours than everyone else, not to mention why on EARTH would you actually want a person like this working every single second the store is open, if they serve NO beneficial purpose to the company and literally do NOTHING as far as anyone is concerned except drive the entire store and all of it's business straight into the dirt?!?! It makes no sense to me or anyone else for that matter, and I suggest if you know what's best for your store, you tell Mrs. Molasses to kick rocks because there are 7 BILLION human beings on this planet who could do that job a thousand times better and more efficient than her. Actually, my 3 year old daughter needs a job, so maybe you'll consider hiring her? I assure you she would do a much better job than the dingbat you got there now. I had a goldfish once that was smarter than this woman... So for the love of everything that actually makes sense in this world... Please... Replace her with someone more capable before you lose the business of, well... Literally the entire population of the city of Cedar Rapids. Makes me wonder what the manager is like, you know? Because it's true what they say... "It takes one to know one." Dear God we can only hope in this case, it doesn't... I mean... I wonder how that interview with Mrs. Molasses even went, you know? And who is this manager who's judgement is clearly ridiculous enough to say to this worthless person "Hey! Your hired!"The world we live in... *sigh*”
“This Caseys is awesome, because it’s open early and they have pizza ready at 4:30 in the morning. Most other gas stations in this area aren’t open early except for a kwik star and They don’t really have good food in the morning.”

“I had been wanting pizza all week and just put it off, I said to myself today I'm definitely having pizza. I called Casey Store and asked the young lady Ms. Akyla the prices of pizza and she kindly responded to every question I had. She mentioned that the small pizza is usually cut in 4 slices and I kindly asked her if she would do 8 slices and she replied, yes I can do that! She even gave me the time frame that my pizza would be ready. And it was when I went to pick it up. I aslo bought a couple of other snacks..Thank you Ms. Akyla my pizza was PERFECT!!! You also have a AMAZING customer service, definitely will come back.Iam definitely enjoying my dinner tonight.Carmen Rodriguez”
