“Stopped in on a rainy afternoon for a tasting. The employees were super friendly and chatty and helpful. The seating area is very empty and bland and obviously used for events - would be nice to have something with a bit more personality for those coming for tastings. The outdoor seating areas would be lovely in dry weather. They were setting up for a concert series with food vendors and it looked like a great crowd was gathering. We had other plans otherwise it would have been fun to stay.”

“Renting through here was the best choice for us. Looking around I was finding outrageous prices to rent a portable bar and an arch, but one message to them was all we needed. We were able to get both and stay under our budget. The items are good quality and super easy pick up and drop off. Will definitely be going through them again for any parties we host in the future.”

I always like to give gifts that are thoughtful and something that a person cant see at one of the big box stores or see someone else owning it. I heard about this boutique and couldn't wait to go see. It didn't dissapoint. The owner greeted me with a smile. This quaint boutique is thoughtfully packed with tons of locally created gems, jewelry, art, food, clothing and more. Its one of the places where you could stand in one spot and just move your head around for several minutes and find so many treasures. Also the creative in me was inspired by so many things. If you are looking for one of kind anniversary, birthday, THANK YOU, thinking of you, just because, or TREAT FOR YOURSELF gift.... XO Studio is a great place to go. You will leave feeling like you paid a fair price and you supported a local artist. “Reclining seats are noisy and many seats cracking. But the theaters are nice, large, good sound balance (medium to a little loud at times). Great movie selection including special viewings! Food delivered to seats is an awesome pre-purchase option. Great selection of food including hot items. Please bring back tea options!”

“Freshly remodeled, clean rooms and friendly staff. Good location. The GM Conner is always the best, always there to take care of his guests.
Rooms: The rooms are newly renovated. So it is bright and fresh and has that new smell still.
Nearby activities: Close to I35 and I80. Just located off Jordan Creek. Which has many things to do or places to eat.
Safety: I do stay for extended time periods over the whole summer. I've felt uncomfortable with the other guests or the area.
Food & drinks: Included social hour M,T, and Wednesday evening. Which Includes a snack or a meal and some tasty beverages.”
“Amenity-forward, dog friendly hotel conveniently located near the highway. Area seems to be newer buildings, and the hotel seems to be part of that trend. Staff was nice enough when I interacted with them, though seemed inconvenienced by me wanting a physical key in addition to the mobile. Lobby area is beautiful, big and bright, so good first impression walking in.The not made-to-order breakfast items and coffee were room temp if not cold. Kind of disappointing, since the cooked item wasn't something I wanted on this particular morning.The room was spacious and new feeling. Shower seems to have been an afterthought from such a nice room design. Hope it isn't windy when you're staying, because while it's nice to have an opening window they aren't sealed properly and you'll have a whistling noise all night. On a cold night and morning, this also made it colder than the heater could keep up with. I'm also not sure why, but there was a smell of cat pee randomly in the bathroom and by the bed I didn't use (thank goodness).I booked a king room and ended up in a double queen. Not too big of a deal since I'm driving from Texas to Chicago and just wanted a good sleep and to do my work before my final leg, but if I were staying more than a night I would have said something since I specifically chose that bigger bed via direct booking in my Bonvoy app. I probably would stay again if just passing through, but not an extended stay of any kind especially if windy.”
“Good place, and very clean! For the price, I expected half as nice. But I got a comfy bed, decent kitchen, and great bathroom too! Everything seems quite new, and they’re friendly.
Edit: There’s a dishwasher, people. Who TF is giving only three stars to a place that’s clean, right next to the interstate, AND has a dishwasher?”

“We were very pleased with our recent stay here. The staff was extremely nice from the lobby to the brunch, everyone had a hospitality first mindset. It was rather pricey for the room, but it could have been a busier time in the area. Everything was very clean.One slight drawback, I didn't realize until after I booked that the cost of a pet was $40, which seems a bit high. I probably would have made a different choice had I known that.”
“Nice place. Clean. It does need some additional maintenance. Such as the bathtub faucet drips all of the time in my room, and there was no way to turn the heat on in the room. The thermostat set the minimum temp for the air-conditioned. It was in the 50s outside, and just as cold in the room - brrrr. Great staff and a convenient location.”
“Our baseball team stayed at the Marriott West Des Moines this past weekend, and we had a fantastic experience from start to finish. The front desk staff—especially the manager—were incredibly attentive and welcoming, making check-in smooth and stress-free. The hotel itself was very clean, and housekeeping did a great job throughout our stay. They went above and beyond to accommodate our group’s needs, and we truly appreciated the hospitality. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to other teams or travelers in the area!”

“There was a towel hanging on the back of the bathroom door when we checked in, but otherwise there's really nothing to complain about. One hundred percent would stay here again.
Rooms: Our room was great! We were traveling with dogs, so I'm not sure if these are all dog friendly rooms or general rooms, we had a 2 room king suite. One bedroom, with two queen beds, plus the living room with a fold out sofa. The room also had a tiny balcony overlooking the courtyard. Really nothing to complain about we were very pleased.
Walkability: There are a number of restaurants and options within walking distance. For me, walking distance is an easy half mile, I'll walk more without complaint. But I wouldn't describe it as walking distance to others ;)”
