“I stopped in to pick up a bag of ice and few other things. I got to the Self Check out and i forgot my ice and a nice gentleman took me to where the ice was located carried it back and said he would carry it out to my car. Well that young fellow was unable to carry it out and Gavin stepped up and carried it out to my car! Gavin was so polite and was funny! Thanks again Gavin and the young fellow that carried my ice to the self check out!”

“This is the first time I've ever been at this location, I have been multiple locations between Chariton and Corydon and then today was in one in South Des Moines off of army and that was a disaster. This store was clean and stocked something I have never seen in any of the Dollar generals I've been to in Iowa and the lady working named Jody, was nice and personable and helpful and friendly. She was apologizing for the fact that due to the extreme cold weather that it was cold in the store. I have never had such a good experience in a Dollar general”

“They were slowly rearranging all the food in every aisle.Its confusing .especially difficult on a time limit because I take the herta bus. with just the one hour it used to take me I didn't have the chance to meander up& down each lane casually glancing at every shelf on both sides section by section. The outcome wasn't a great one but last minute changes to my list made it a very costly one! I don't want to be there for 2hrs the next two or three times I ride the bus there to find and memorize the new layout..ugh”
