“I really love the Balkan and Eastern European offerings here! The owners are extremely kind and welcoming! They're always ready and able to direct me to whatever grocery item I'm in search of. I grew up with Bosnian friends so I will typically come here to find something I miss eating at their house! The store is small but I feel like they offer a wide variety of things. Very, clean, immaculate store! I am so glad we have this in Des Moines.”

“When I visit this place, what attracts me most is European/American Style produce, different grocery products, that you’re never seen before, reasonable prices and a lots of stuff to look for. “Stopped here for lunch on a Friday. It is a popular lunch location! The line moved quick. Our order came out quickly as well. They have a great selection of salads, sandwiches and soups. I had the cilantro lime chicken salad and it was very tasty. The focaccia that came with it was also great. So garlicky, which I love. Plenty of seating and fun to explore the market before and after. Definitely recommend!”

“I love shopping here. They have some items and ingredients always in stock that aren’t always easy to find. Unique snacks. Lots of harder to find produce. Any kind of noodle you can think of. Cheap home products such as dishes and pans. And some just plain strange products for any store to have around here. I like to just go and browse honestly.A lot of reviewers complain about a smell but I’ve never been bothered by it. Is it as clean as a big chain store? Well… no … but I still really enjoy coming here. And it’s always busy.”
“Went for the first time today and I enjoyed the experience as well as the prices. Wanted to stock up on some snacks and essentials before the storm. Ended up being checked out by the store manager who definitely knows his groceries. He made a recommendation to the lady in front of me that he knew would save her some money on an item she had which was awesome cause most stores want to upsell you. He was super polite and really wanted to make sure you had a good experience in the store. Will definitely be returning from here on”

“Amazing friendly and cheerful lady ❤️ for Sunday noon delivery and I arrived 11am. Backed up and she started working on the load right away. Have another stop for Wisconsin and she just wanted all the paperwork so she could make sure everything was okay for them too. She deserves ? a raise. Making drivers look forward to a thankful ? And happy day is rare but she made my day. They welcome drivers earlier and plenty of space”
“This is my go-to grocery store for meat. It's a medium sized grocery store and doesn't have quite the variety that some of these new or larger ones have but it's convenient and usually very quick to get through.”

“Love this pharmacy, they always willing to help me understand my current meds along with my knee meds. I've been going here ever since the flood in 2018 that took out the Hy-Vee on MLK. I won't go to any other pharmacy because of the experience I've had here.”
“I just rode with a guy that picks up tires and disposes of them for Sahoma. I've never actually had any work done over there but I can say that they are really nice people and I would definitely give them a shot at looking at my vehicle sometime if I need them in the future. After I left the shop part of it I went up front to the store cuz I had the worst headache and the guy at the register gave me some Tylenol that helped make it tolerable till I could get some more in my system. Nice guy up front as well. I'd give 5 star and definitely will change my rating after I have some work done on my car.”

“I'm originally from Texas, living in Missouri and married a Des Moines woman. She has always talked about Grazianos. So when we visited, she had to get some Italian sausage and make Hot Sausage Sandwiches. I don't know if this is a local thing or just a family staple, but it was great. Then I found the Grazianos olives. Havnt found any olive that delicious. So our Christmas trip up we came to the store and walked out with 10 lbs of sausage and 15 lbs of olives! I love the store. I will definitely be coming every chance I get!”
