“Hartig Drug became our family's pharmacy the week we arrived in Iowa City. That was 13 years ago. The folks behind the counter have served our prescription needs without fail. They know us by name and are always pleasant. Hartig also keeps a good stock of beer, wine, and liquor.”

“Store is well laid out, and considering how many people go through the store every day, the cleaning crew does an amazingly good job of making the interior look good. Generally the merchandise is well stocked and displayed, and shelves seem to be well-filled overall. I have the store layout in my mind, and my shopping list is arranged by aisle, so shopping is easy and efficient. Fortunately, items STAY PUT in location, and unlike grocery stores which move items around, this Walmart does not seem to do that. The manager deserves a big thank you for making THIS WALMART clean, pleasant and efficient for the customer....ME!”

“During COVID they were under-staffed and over-loaded. For whatever reason (I think because there was a lack of Pharmacy students to fill the lower-tier positions), this situation lasted until long after most businesses had recovered.
But they *have* recovered! Back to being speedy, reliable, convenient, and informative. They were great for about a decade, then COVID, and now back to being great.
Hyvee on a bad day is better than Walgreens or CVS on a good day.”

“Last Saturday, I found the CVS down the street to be exceptionally clean and the help were friendly as usual. Found everything that I wanted to find and was able to check out quickly.”
“I frequently use this Walgreens store for my pharmaceutical needs. I sometimes go inside and other times, I use their 24 hr Pharmacy Drive-Thru. I have always been very satisfied with this Walgreens and their service as well as their wide selection of merchandise inside their store. This time, I went inside the store to wait in line at the pharmacy, to pickup my medicine. I used the restroom and it was average. The store was very clean. The pharmacist that helped me was a very kind and knowledgeable gentleman. Overall, great experience!”

“Hyvee Grill is open, Yes Please!!! I stopped here for lunch today and had a burger, bag of popcorn, and a drink for $5.50. Can't beat that deal! So delicious.”
“I haven't had Hyvee breakfast in forever! Yesterday, I stopped in with my youngest daughter so we could eat/hangout between basketball games. I had a veggie skillet with added sausage. The breakfast was just as good as I remembered and staff was awesome!”
“I came in to print out photos for my dad’s celebration of life, I was a complete grieving mess. My brain was not functioning and I had no idea what I was doing at the photo kiosk. The shift lead (I assume) took his time walking me through everything on the kiosk and was extremely understanding of what a mess I was, and the mistake I was making at the kiosk. In the end I was surprised to find out that he had paid for my photos! The man on register was also very kind and sympathetic. I can’t speak for anyone else at that Walgreens but those two really went above and beyond with me.”
