“Tim & Darins staff are incredible. A few years back I was shopping at a large department store and was not given any attention or assistance with the item's I needed; ended up coming down to Mr B's and haven't bought a suit from anywhere else since! I would highly recommend Mr B's to anyone seeking menswear and has an interest in building a professional relationship with their extremely knowledgable clothiers.”

“Adam was so extremely helpful and professional. Last year my husband and I stopped in the shop while we were driving through Des Moines. Later, I was trying to come up with gift ideas for my husband and recalled they do custom leather work. Adam provided a 10/10 experience and made the vision for the wallet come to life all via email. He checked in with me throughout the process to ensure they were on the right track and it truly came out beautiful. Thank you!”

“I went to Halberstadt’s for my first suit years ago and i’ve had a great experience every time I walk into this store. From business casual to full on suits, Clayton and his crew always get me taken care of. There’s been times where I needed a quick turn around on tailoring and they always make it happen. Not to mention their prices are competitive with places in the area. Whether it’s your first time buying a suit or you wear a suit everyday of the week, this is the place to go. The customer service here is outstanding and that’s hard to find nowadays.”

“As a person using a mobility device, aka a rolling walker, I struggle going into stores that have lots of little items. This store’s aisles and places to walk through were immaculate snd easy to navigate. A lot of times, I skip shopping in similar stores, because my mobility device is a hinderance, and I can’t safely shop the store. When I was there on April 4th, 2025, I was able to safely shop and look with no issues or assistance needed, which rarely happens. The people working were extremely helpful and kind. I hope this continues and spreads to other places. This store is proof that ADA compliance is possible, and fun items are for everyone!”

“Let me just start with saying CJ has been MORE than helpful every single time we come to this location. I have never had someone so respectful, mindful, helpful & caring in retail whether it is 4 hours or 4 minutes to close. In no way have I ever had someone go so out of their way to find different sizes for my hot topic loving 9 year old. He deserves a raise & all of the recognition in the world - if he has not yet been named employee of the year he very much should be!! I cannot express my gratitude, always looking out for us for deals, coupons & recommendations. I could keep going on & on & it still wouldn't be enough. Thank you CJ for being so incredible, you ARE our FAVORITE. You not only always make our visit unforgettable, but it’s one-of-a-kind and wouldn’t be the same if you weren’t there! Thanks for being you, Your biggest fans Xoxo Toria & Brittany Dukes”

“I was on the hunt for something specific. While one employee told me the item was in “storage.”Jackie, the store manager, went above and beyond looking through several boxes to locate the item I was looking to purchase. She didn’t have to do that on a busy Friday evening, but she did! It’s the little things that matter. She was very personable and has the customer- first mindset. (I’m a customer care manager myself)”

“J Crew recently rolled out a new credit card which I applied for the first day it was available at a store in Kansa City. There were all sorts of issues and the card was not able to be used that day. I was able to go to our local store in West Des Moines and get everything transferred from another card to the new J Crew card thanks to the help of Karlie. Very impressed with the customer service!!”

“EXCELLENT customer service! Rushed there after a shift at work to get new pants. I haven’t shopped for new in years so it was a def trial and error event. Lol. They were attentive, patient, informative, and helpful. Considering it was less than an hour til close and they had decent amount of traffic still etc they didn’t let it affect how they were with customers! Far and few do you see this anymore!”

Now I know how to do it going forward. Thank you!”
