1225 Copper Creek Drive Ste E1, Pleasant HillExcept for the fact that they had run out of brisket and burnt ends, and the ridiculous cost of their alcohol, it was a great experience. Their wings and ribs were fantastic. The boys loved they're pulled pork Mac and cheese. Creamed corn and beans were very good.
But when I got that bill and my two double Bombay and tonics were $56, I thought that to be ridiculously outrageous for a strip mall eatery. I've bartended in the past. Two decades worth. Bombay@$14? And every bar I've ever worked at, the double was cut down in price on the second shot. They gave me $20 back, but I still think $36 for two doubles is rather pricey.
My point? Enjoy the food. It is fantastic. But check prices before having a drink.
One more thing, I just ate the rest of my ribs. Today is Thursday. They were just as delicious today as they were Sunday. Can't wait to try their brisket and burnt ends
