Both our dogs love her and each time I pick them up they are so excited to see me and show off their new cuts. She takes the time to really get to know your pet. I feel like I am able to ask her so many questions about grooming, treats, bowel issues, habits, etc. She knows what she is doing and LOVES what she is doing and it shows!! We also love that she loves to support other small businesses in the area. She really is 1 in a million.

505 W Salem Ave, IndianolaThis was my first appointment with Nikki! She treated my chihuahua so gentle and spoke so kindly to him. He hates having his nails trimmed and she was so amazing with him! Will definitely be taking him back for nail trims!

19885 US-69, IndianolaI have not been here but I called to see about getting in because our groomer of 6 years retired and we haven’t had luck finding someone nice and gentle with good reviews that can back up those reviews. I called today to inquire about getting in with Heather and although I was not able to due to her amazing repeat clients, I can tell you that her personality shown thru even on the phone. She radiates kindness and understanding and I would not hesitate to bring my Peanut there. We will be calling next year to see if she is taking new clients and hope we can get on the list!

Kindness Pet Clinic
1007 E 2nd Ave, IndianolaThey have been doing vet care for my cats and dog for years. I ended up at another vet clinic for the last two years because my daughter was working there before heading to Iowa state.
However, when it came time to say goodbye to my beloved cat of 19yrs, I immediately reached out to kindness. Why? The answer is in their name. I knew they would allow us private entry into a room and they would give us a quiet space to go through the process. The thought of a no schedule experience in a mad house of a clinic was terrifying to me.
We chose to do a private cremation and have her ashes to take home. A week later I was able to pick them up and I will just say that when I saw all the thoughtfulness that went into everything they provided I broke down. We have locks of her hair, paw prints and a beautiful carved wooden box for her ashes. I figured we would get her back in a bag inside of a cardboard box and have to choose an urn.
I’m so so so grateful for being able to just have her back home with everything taken care of. Plus the entire thing was shockingly affordable.
After this experience we will be returning to kindness for all of our vet needs. I’m a client for life.
Thank you to the whole staff for your support in a heart breaking moment in our lives. ?

All Creatures Small Animal Hospital
2300 W 2nd Ave, IndianolaWe had to do the hardest thing a pet owner had to do and put our 17 year old cat to sleep. The girls were so kind to us and our pet. We can't thank them enough. Its hard to see your pets health decline and even harder to make the decision to not make them suffer any longer. All Creatures Small is the best!

Kiya Koda Humane Society
1206 N Jefferson Way, IndianolaI love this place and these people so much. We adopted our wee Bruno (he was known as Herbie) to the community. Bruno is a little apple headed chihuahua that was hit by a car and the staff at the society cared for him so dearly. We felt so honored to be chosen to adopt him. He is thriving and has chosen our Ruby as his adopted mom. He shadows her and it this bond brings him much comfort.
The Society has checked in on him so sweetly as they bonded with him during his time after his accident as well. They are the best!!
