Pet Stores & Supplies
Bone-A-Patreat
3735 86th Street, UrbandaleVisited the store for the first time tonight as new parents of a 10 week old great pyr puppy. We brought her in with us and she was complimented by the staff and even offered treats. My children were given a snack as well. Staff made great recommendations for puppy chew sticks, and they helped us find the item we came to grab as well- a portable water dish that attaches to the crate. We will be back!

Pet Grooming
The Barking Lot
3235 99th Street, UrbandaleLyndi was our groomer for our 5-year-old Golden Retriever, and she did such a wonderful job! She trimmed her up perfectly, just like we had asked. Jersey Girl looked great, and she was definitely worn out when we picked her up—which tells us she had a good day! We really appreciate the great care Lyndi gave her and would definitely recommend her.

Urban Pet Hospital And Resort
3601 104th St, UrbandaleWe love it here. The staff remembers our dog and treat him so wonderfully. When our last dog had health problems the staff were incredibly kind letting us know when it was time to let him go. And when that time came they were beyond generous in their treatment of him and us.

Pet Sitting & Training
Canine Craze Performance Center
3101 104th Street Suite 3, UrbandaleI would highly recommend this place. When searching for obedience classes, my puppy was 6mo. Of all the places I reached out to, this is the one that answered the phone and took the time to help me know which class I should sign up for (puppy class or dog perfect). I ended up taking Dog Perfect. It's a longer course (~15 weeks). It covers so much though. It's thorough, and my puppy matured a lot because of it. The staff is very knowledgeable and it was great to ask questions on class material, and general dog training. I am currently taking private lessons for some resource guarding and couldn't be happier about the individual approach they take. Would recommend this place to anyone.
